Lmao, that’s why I didn’t bother with that idiot. If a person does not have basic understanding and common sense, the only thing that they’re there for is to be laughed at. Kelis is from New York. If she wasn’t in it for the fame, there are many subways that she can sing on with a paper cup in her hand. All of these “artists” are in it for the fame. It’s certainly not for the money, because they’re all being robbed blind. The point of this whole thing is fame and artificial god/goddesshood, and it is why they are willing to do what they do, to the point of selling their souls. Any artist doing it today in the mainstream is a part of the same program, in more ways than one.

Judah, I hear you but I think she continues to get offers from major companies because they’re all chasing that one platinum selling ITunes single. They’d pretty much give ANYBODY a go at this point. It doesn’t mean they’ll continue to underwrite her projects.

Ummmmm i dont kno wat to say about Kelis right now. back in the day i loved her. Im not really follow the direction of this album. I still love her style but if she tryna make some doe she betta lay some hotter tracks
@ Juda I agree the ppl who support her are paid pawns. She wants the fame why else would she be trying to chase a dream with no talent. She got dropped from three labels soon to be four and she doesn’t even have that many hits in the country she was born in. She claims to be popular in the UK but her album charted at about #40 something. Yeah thats a flop she wants to prove that she is a success without Nas but the fact is she isn’t. She is a dirty mutt from Harlem with no morals and now her looks have faded and music the industry if off to the next one.
So far I’ve loved almost every track I’ve heard. Kelis seems so free and liberated I love it. I must admit i wasn’t really a big fan but she’s got my interest. Love the video she looks fab!

Kellis is beautiful. I love what you’re doing. The video is beautiful and the song is a must. I am a dark skinned AF and I love it! I also love seeing how we are going outside the box to get what WE want. There used to be a time we would have never approached Tecno and it LOOKS GOOD ON US.

The look she’s going for is a bit much, all the same shes a performer so if thats what she wants to wear on stage, shes not the only one her likes to express her wild side.
The direction shes going into is working in my opinion, and makes sense; why compete in the same genre as Nas and hope that people pick your side with all the drama going on.
