“Free,” produced by Nottz is the first single from Bilal’s forthcoming third studio album, Air Tight’s Revenge.
Although Bilal has been performing constantly, it’ll be the first time we’ve heard studio material from him since his 2006 underground album, Love For Sale. The new LP, Air Tight’s Revenge is slated for release September 14th.

man, i can say i AM a fan of bilal but with the show he did this feb in ATLANTA im not so sure how ill be feeling him. not only was he MESSED UP, he didnt do a sound check and the show sounded AWFUL. so horrible in fact that I ended up leaving because it was excruciating. man. . .i wasnt even the only one and so many people were looking perplexed. Ill never forget that. I braved the elements do see him and the snow turning to ice + atlantas lack of resources to salt the highway=a ride home that wasnt even worth it. i thought i was going to DIE,lol. never have i been so glad to be home!!!!!!!!
i really really hope hes not strung out on something and that if he is getting too far out there, his people will help to reign him in. his talent is too great for him to smoke it all away!!!

Bilal, greatest artist male or female. If you’ve heard his unreleased shelved album “Love for Sale” you know what Im talkin bout. It was a masterpiece! I’ve seen him in concert several times, so unrehearsed and staged yet delightfully entertaining. And it’s a new experience every time. He can sing a song a 100 different dope ways. Check out youtube. #1 fan. He’s raw and refreshing a real vocalist. He is the best I’ve seen in concert and I have seen everybody. Maxwell, Erykah, Jill, Floetry, Prince, rafael Sadiq non can come close.
