Former Destiny’s Child bandmate Kelly Rowland is drawing nearer to the release of her third studio album, which she revealed to our friends at ThatGrapeJuice.net, remains untitled.
The latest track to drop from the album is the Stargate-produced “Grown Woman,” which Kelly has talked about in a several interviews.
There is no solid release date on the forthcoming album, however Kelly is confident in September release.

This is the 4th or 5th song leaked out in the last 3 weeks, by the end of this month, all the songs would be out. So tell me KELLY, why the f$@k should i buy your album when you have leaked all the songs?

This song is actually really decent. I like it. But I’m nervous for her album. The sad thing about Kelly is that she has a good amount of fans that would support her no matter what, but it is not a huge amount. Basically, if you’re not internet savy or a former DC3 fan, most likely you’ll know nothing about Kelly or her album. And that’s sad.
She sounds horrible on this song. Not fitting for her voice at all.

I actually like it, as much as I love Kelly I think her album will tank. But I really hope she proves me wrong because she’s super talented and she deserves success. In regards to her photos, why do they always look so amateur, cheap and tacky? Like the one above. I really wish she would just get her shit together.
@Zachary that is not the full shot of that photo that is why it looks like that but if you see the full shot you will see that it is a beautiful picture of her. You should support Kelly instead of thinking she is going to tank, but she wont she has alot people behind her this time.
@Loso, I’ve seen the full shot and I still find it tacky. But I know she’s capable of taking good pictures because I remember a shoot she did a while back, with Mark Squires I believe, and those pictures were beautiful and classy. And I really do want her to succeed but she’s really worrying me.

I don’t know why they added that digital “effect” to her voice on the parts where she’s supposed to show bravado.. I know she can sing live, so why is it necessary? Strip away some of the effects and I think I’ll love it. Right now, I like it.

@REAL, Yes, yes, yes. Kelly should STOP interviewers from asking her questions about DC or its members. Beyonce, Michelle and Kelly are friends and I am sure they would understand Kelly’s business decision. Who knows why interviewers rarely ask Beyonce questions about DC. Beyonce could very well have those questions filtered out. It’s business, that’s all!
This album is FIYA, and it is time that Kelly takes command of the decisions. I am so rooting for her.
Kelly was my favorite DC member when the group was a quartet with four members. To me, Kelly stood out on the videos created from The Destiny Child’s and Writing’s on the Wall cds. My eyes would just focus on her.
When the members were reduced to three, Beyonce took the lead role for songs like Survivor and Independent Woman and she became the focus.
However, Kelly and Beyonce are the best solo artists from the DC group. Daddy Knowles made sure that Beyonce became a huge solo artist and now it is time for Motown to make sure Kelly becomes a huge solo artist.
There is no need to mention DC or its members, unless you are planning a reunion.

@Yelling Girl, you got that right. Now, the world is about to see what truly makes an artist a superstar: part talent, part producer, part timing, part production, part marketing. And talent is the least part. Beyonce does have talent, but without the most important parts that I listed above, Beyonce would have fallen through the cracks like every other talented artists; and there are plenty talented artists out there.
It is Kelly’s time to piece together the other parts of the superstar puzzle. She always had the talent and beauty. Now, let’s move on to the production and marketing. Yeah, put Kelly in the studio with the best and see what happens.
