Former Destiny’s Child starlet Kelly Rowland reveals her the second of her United States singles from her forthcoming third studio album, which remains untitled.
“Rose Colored Glasses” was produced by Dr. Luke and written by Ester Dean.
Kelly is currently promoting her first international single, “Commander,” as well as its urban remix, which features rapper Nelly. “Rose Colored Glasses,” along with “Grown Ass Woman” will impact radio on June 29th.
Rowland has yet to confirm a release date, but looks forward to a September release.

The song is definitely crossover – techno/pop material. Her voice sounds like very techno on this one. maybe they can also do an urban version of this song as well.

Kelly’s songs that are leaking are apart of her Dual Single Release here in the States. STHO has been scrapped from album and as a single. So now its just Commander’s mixes, RCG, and GAW. All set to smash their prospective formats!! Let’s support Kelly both abroad and domestically!!

I really like this song! The production and vocal arrangements of this song are on point! It’s has a nice pop and empowering athem about finally leaving a relationship. This will definitely get good airplay! If she releases a beautiful video and keeps on performing this track, it’ll definitely reach the top 10 on BILLBOARD 100!
If Beyonce can release a dual single — “Single Ladies”/”If I Were A Boy” — to urban and Top 40 at the same time, I see no reason why Kelly shouldn’t come with the same fire. It will only work though if Motown comes out the gate promoting both singles like fire.
Remember when both of Beyonce’s video-singles came out, the songs were merely okay to most at first, but Sony & B promoted both songs like they were the hottest sounds that radio needed to hear, videos, websites, and all…
My fear is that they’ll promote this like a back-burner Amerie album and all three of Kelly’s singles will go straight to the waste-bin.

I find “Rose Colored Glasses” inspirational, mature, raw. There is only one Kelly and I’m glad she is sharing her best musically with the world.
Kelly this song took me places I needed to go. It was that sunny breeze, top down type of beat and certainly nothing I ever heard before kinda song. Kelly, I don’t know where you drew strength from personally, but you sure did bring it home!

This song is perhaps one of the best new songs I’ve heard in a very long time that is on par with Ericka Badu, and Angie Stone, Chrisette Michelle, Ledesi, etc.. the ladies, who are truely musically talented Queens.
