Remember Sammie? He is best known for having a couple of hits while still a pre-teen (including “I Like It” and “Crazy Things I Do”). Well the 23 year-old just released a new mixtape this week that features all new material.

Sammie has been HARD at work over the past year. In 1 year, he’s already released 2 mixtapes, 1 EP, and about to embark on his 2nd Tour (Youngest N Charge). I have been HARD at promoting for my bro Sammie, and things are really taking off for him. He’s on Interscope Records now & which I think was a very smart move. Almost ALL of Interscope’s artists are major mainstream & crossover artists. They are giving Sammie the opportunity to be their face of Male R&B music (a task that I think he’s MORE than ready for). With no other male artists in that same genre/category on the label, he should receive an UNLIMITED amount of promo. GREAT THINGS ARE AHEAD FOR SAMMIE!

Everytime I hear Sammie, he is consistantly & pleasantly surprising me! I just want to encourage everyone to support quality R&B like Sammie if you like what you hear. You GO Sammie & don’t give up–endurance pays off in the long run…you just have to keep running to reach it!

@jc Sammie was out before trey songz so what are you talking about? And Sammie can axtually sing, so a comparison to non singing trey songz is crazy. Sammie write all of his material, trey songz dont. Sammie can sing, hes a vocal beast and his runs and riffs are amazing. I’m not going to lie, the mixtape is ok but Im feeling the other 2 mixtapes he dropped better than this one. But i love hearing Sammie sing so it’s all good.
I agree with NUNYA 100% about Sammie came way before wack Trey Songz. I can’t stand Trey Songz, he thinks he’s way better than Kells- MR R&B R.Kelly- R.Kelly is the #1 man of the sex songs from time and still is regardless!!! I wish Sammie all the best with his new album. Also I like that music note tattoo that he has, its different.
NUNYA, WTF, Trey can’t sing? I don’t care for Trey Songz, his lyrics are oversexed and his songs are stupid, but he can so sing! He’s one of the best R&B vocalist out right now. His greatest work was when he sung “Sex Room” by Ludacris! He also sounds good in “I Need a Girl” and “Gotta Go.” He has a powerful and smooth voice. Yes, he does try too hard to sound like R Kelly, but he has pipes. Sammie, he sounds okay… sounds like a fake Chris Brown though!
