NEW MUSIC: KELLY ROWLAND – “GROWN WOMAN”

Former Destiny’s Child bandmate Kelly Rowland is drawing nearer to the release of her third studio album, which she revealed to our friends at ThatGrapeJuice.net, remains untitled.

The latest track to drop from the album is the Stargate-produced “Grown Woman,” which Kelly has talked about in a several interviews.

There is no solid release date on the forthcoming album, however Kelly is confident in September release.

MUSIC VIDEO: EMINEM – “NOT AFRAID”

Here’s the Rich Lee-directed video from Eminem for “Not Afraid”, the first single from his seventh album Recovery, set for release June 22. Shot in downtown Newark, New Jersey, the video also includes a cameo from rapper Royce da 5’9″.

MAG COVERS: ERYKAH BADU COVERS VIBE

Singer/songwriter Erykah Badu is one of June/July’s cover subjects for VIBE (the other being rapper Nicki Minaj).

Erykah spoke about the controversy surrounding her latest video for the song “Window Seat”.

“I look at some other videos. i’m not naming names, because I don’t want that to be mentioned. There is the thing with sexuality. I’m naked for 13 seconds, and these people are naked the whole time and gyrating and saying come “lick on my lollipop,” and “suck on my cinnamon roll,” and, you know, suggesting sex. People are uncomfortable with sexuality that’s not for male consumption. could be ‘cause I did it in public too. Do you think people would have been complaining if I had on high-heel shoes?” [ SOURCE ]
