For the past couple of weeks rapper Lil Kim has been taking shots at popular rapper Nicki Minaj. She sat down with Thisis50.com earlier this week and spoke in detail about her beef with Nicki.
“For the last year she has been subliminally taken shots at me. Subliminally taken shots at the other girls in the industry. I mean come on, we read that interview where she said “Being that the other rap chicks in the game ain’t got sh*t to do right now, when I’m by the pool they can feed me grapes”. I remember that sh*t, I keep my ears to the street at all the time. Just because I do my Hollywood thing and you know my Malibu Barbie thing don’t mean my ear isn’t to the streets at all time. The last thing she did that was very subliminal “Did I kill the Queen?” and Puffy sitting right next to her riding with that bullsh*t?” Come on! We ain’t stupid. Let’s go all the way back when when she first came out and was doing all of my songs over. There was certain interviews that she was doing and my fans got upset because she was busting shots at me. Actually she was throwing pebbles. It was nothing. I was blowing them out my face like flies. She said some sh*t on twitter like “Oh f*ck all you Lil Kim fans. Nicki Minaj is the sh*t right now”. I still let that ride..

It is typically something that is deemed morally wrong! And it is wrong for a reason. Via basic English courses, people are taught the principle of “If your going to take and use something that is not your own (ideas, quotes, etc), U R REQUIRED TO STATE YOUR SOURCE AND GIVE THE PROPER CREDIT.” Niggas jappin out on Kim like she in the wrong for feeling the way she feel. Drake old soft ass know damn well if he would have bit jay’s swag just in the sligtest, half of New York would have ran in his mouth early. And the “being a G” part of that situation would have been simple. Jay-Z wouldn’t have been the one to do it. He simply would have sent some other rapper to handle the dirty work.
I mean really, If a bitch broke out into the music industry wit a cover/remake of Alicia Keys “Falling” and was running around saying it was hers (simply cuz she changed a couple words). Long story short. Nicki Minaj wrote a 15 page research paper using Kim as one of her sources. The problem is, instead of just taking a quote out of the encyclopedia of KIM, this bitch just said “Fuck it! this paper is due tomorrow!” and threw a whole damn 3 chapters while still only giving credit to that 1 single quote (ex: the infamous Hardcore pose). Sadly the original author found this out and is now putting the real out there.
