I know that hair weaves are a form of enhancement, but I wish that women in general would really try to work with their real hair. I think it is absolutely ridiculous that some hair care product companies are making millions off creating entire “hair care” lines for weaves when you could do the same thing to your real hair. If women do wear weave, I think there should be classes on how to care for your real hair if that’s what you choose to do. I work with many young girls wearing too much weave, and you can see that their hairlines are damaged.

As soon as black men stop falling down, drooling, acting a damn fool around women with long flowing hair is when black women will stop wearing weaves. I find it so hypocritical that people will say black women need to wear their own hair, when most of the time, men, especially BLACK MEN, fall all over themselves, for women with long hair….This has been going on for a long time. Don’t act like this is not a problem. I swear black people are prone to do shyt, then act dumb when the masses respond. You know darn well this is a problem in our communities because black men have repeatedly shown black women that this is what’s special…long hair….If this were not the case, you wouldn’t see black women wearing it so much….The fact of the matter is, it says to most that you are attractive, especially to black men….Most women, let alone black women, won’t get much attention without long hair….keep it real. And black men especially are very short minded when it comes to such thing. I hear black men praising black women who wear their own hair, then who do you see on their arm, a women with either long real hair, or fake hair.

I don’t think my statement was contradictory at all. It’s no secret I don’t care for beyonce’s hustle. I think she’s a fake person and not real, and the image she’s selling to the public is a faux one. But that’s my personal opinion. I do not believe all the people who have said beyonce and her father’s work behind the scenes have been unscrupulous are all liars. I think beyonce is a ruthless, money hungry, even more fame hungry (no limit) person, and that she’s willing to achieve and maintain this status at all cost. I think she’s a deceptive person, and a big liar. I said, and I stand by this, and until she changes, my thoughts of her will not ever change.
Now on the other hand, the comments on this post about naomi are all superficial. I didn’t see anyone addressing the issue of her personality like I have with beyonce. Instead, it’s been statements suggesting because she has no hair, she’s just ugly, and suggesting because she is balding and have bunions that she’s just not attractive. Though attractiveness is in the eye of the beholder, to call her ugly based on a lack of hair or a bunion from years of high heel wearing is just ignorant. There’s a difference.
I don’t care for beyonce, and I do not respect her rise to fame. The fact that you feel she’s talented is subjective….While I think she’s talented, I do not by no stretch of the imgaintion think she’s the most talented. But because of the dollars for marketing thrown behind her, if gives the publc the illusion she is the best. And because of the under the table deals are done, and dirt against other artists, intentionally trying to minimize their talent, she can maintain her spot. I do not respect this type of thing, and I do not recognize her success.
