@luvbug speaking from my personal view, i could care less about color. it’s rare for me to even be attracted to guys like common (he’s one of the few light-skinned me i like)- i don’t see the big deal about boris kodjoe, michael ealy, and countless of light-skinned ppl in the industry, both men and women- i’m all about the face- bone structure (which boris has but he has such a boring face-too typical for me) etc. not the skin color and serena rarely ever looks good. here she looks great but she’s also made up- whenever i see her makeup-less she looks manly. erykah is stunning to me. big eyes, high cheekbones, bigger lips. that’s why i always say that erykah was his best. when it comes to intelligence etc. no, he couldn’t do better than serena. she’s very talented at what she does and seems intelligent etc. but looks-wise, she’s a hit or miss, with more misses than hits

LUVBUG I am feelin’ your comment…It angers me that when a successful black person is showcased, the first ones to say negative things are those from her-his own race, it is appalling!! We expect “whitey” to say negative things, those we tend to overlook as we have done for years and will continue to do, but when the critical words come from ‘your people’ it says something about the progress we are “supposed” to have made as a people! Where is it? Is it in our families, churches, schools, relationships? I would love to see and experience it. It is a bit funny though that people tend to attack darker-skinned women and not the men. She is beautiful and talented and haterz do nothing but boost her up…if you dislike someone that much…why bother to comment? I thought most were taught to say nothing if you had nothing nice to say? I want to know how these people look while they criticize Ms. Williams, who by the way has a slammin-ass body!!! TRY LIFTING SOMEONE UP BEFORE TRYING TO TEAR THEM DOWN!! DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING JR.
