Bruno Mars has provided background vocals to two of this year’s top tracks. In addition, he has released his first EP, It’s Better If You Don’t Understand.
Now he’s prepping his first full-length album, currently untitled, and here’s the first single, the romantic, mid-tempo “Just the Way You Are”.
Bruno Mars’ debut album is slated for release later this year. You can catch him later this year on the “Hands All Over” Tour with Maroon 5 and One Republic, kicking off October 6 in Santa Barbara, California.
The song’s ok, but I think he’s a better supporting artist. I’m not sure his voice is strong or impressive enough to stand alone.

He sounds like every single other singer right now, literally, like I couldn’t tell his voice from Lloyd’s, to Chris Brown to Omarion to Adam Leveign.
It’s not that I think he’s bad, he seems talanted, I can’t tell because being that now he’s the new poprockrap go to guy, everything he’s been featured on is severely over produced and all these new singers have absolutely no range whatsoever, they all sound nasally and sing mid tempo, I wish him well but I honestly think he’s going to be the last straw before the new music wave comes in.
Everybody’s trying to get in where they fit in. Ok hipster 1950′s inspired clothes, check, Suburban non threatening, Check, tatted up, check, plays some kind of instrument usually allways piano, because it some how justify’s the artistry, even if the music doesn’t, check, shrill non octive voice suitible for singing hooks on songs, check. It’s getting tired.

I know now that this song should do very well. I like it alot and it sounds like a hit. I am sure it will play a whole lot on the radio and should be a top ten hit in the months to come.

It’s rare to hear men praising women in their music for being themselves. They’re usually always talking about their body, how long and how straight their hair is, the calibre of their clothing, all that nonsense that doesn’t even matter at the end of the day. I could play this song to my daughter someday, therefore this song is amazing & timeless. <3

You wrong for that because Chris Brown and Omarion are not good singers at all. The music may be similar but the voices are not and his music has substance. Bruno’s voice is pure and strong. Love it! He has a beautiful voice and its ashame you all will go on a Omarion and Llyod post just to complain about when are we going to get real music. But as soon as real music is presented you shut it down and complain. He can sing, write, and play the guitar. What else you guys want?
Not a fan of Bruno Mars, but he has a really nice voice. This is a very good song; it’s what women should be listening to especially young women–instead of that drop in down low, grind on me/ and suck this type of songs. This is what I call real music. Thumbs up Bruno!
