After the release of her first single, Ciara gives us a taste of what else is to come on her upcoming fourth studio album, Basic Instincts.
The second single comes to us in the form of “Gimme That,” which is produced and written by the duo of Tricky Stewart & The Dream, who have done her new album in its entirety, much like Mariah Carey’s last project, Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel.
Ciara’s Basic Instinct is set to hit stores August 17th.

The production is too much for her weak voice. She’s talking as usual and not singing and the production is leaving her. These chicks need to stop trying to be Sasha Fierce and play their low level positions that their voice is catered too. I give Riyawna’s wack singing ass at least that credit because she knows she doesn’t have a voice and lets the production do it for her while she talks and grumbles her way through the record.

Ciara is an entertainer and she can work the dance floor betta than Beyonce, Rihanna, Cassie, Mariah, or Lady Gaga. I love this single more than “Ride.” People will be skipping to this beat this summer. I will be buying Basic Instinct .
First listen, this song is too typical for me. As an artist I need her to step out of the box. ‘Gimme That’ may have to grow on me. I’ll give it another try.
