Can we get some more positive posts garnered towards the black community. I’m tired of hearing about fake gangster rappers that do nothing more than dumb down our people. SMH

    GETEM Stopping Wining

Dead Prez just dropped a new mixtape, which btw is dope. Go check it out if you need positive music.

I hate when people complain without actually trying to solve the situation.

    SMH

    @ 5. GETEM.

    Cosign, cosign, cosign!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I thought there was better hope for Rick “Slick Rick” Ross he sounding now like Slub Shady. I liked the song with video with Stacy Dash, High somn, but this dumbing down is awful! He went with that ride and taking Kanye along for the downride.

As a matter of fact, some good positive posts have come through here recently like Nas/Damian “Tuff Gong” Marley, and others. Thanks for those.

  12. PRETTY GANGSTA

@Gerald…shut up…..u need to tell the artist that u listen to that bs.

YES “YOUNG” black folks stop supportin this GARBAGE..theyre isnt anything cool about living fast and dying young….music like this just goes to show how stupid, careless and ignorant most of these dumb down commercial mainstream rappers are…and how they really dont give a f**k about the ones thats listentin to the garbage they promote and glorify in there music…all they care and concerned about is the money yall put out and the fact that its hella immature ppl bumpin this sh*t….not the EFFECT or THE TRUTH.

  13. TEA PARTY/REPUBLICANS POISED TO WIN BIG IN NOVEMBER

Ha! IF u need positive music u say? So what u need is negative music? Go read the Miseducation of the Negro to reeducate u and raise ur level of consciousness b/c yall that like this dumbing down shyt dont even know that it is dumbing u down. This is the shyt that is being marketed, being high on charts or number one b/c the mass public is dumbed down. WHAT IS BEING EDUCATED IN THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS, WHAT?!! Also, u can go listen listen to Lauren Hill,s Miseducation. Sleeping giant still sleeping.

I think the misconception of it all when it comes to music is this, Music artists are no different then Actors in the entertainment industry and the thing is we as people not black, not white but PEOPLE should focus on your own indiviual likings when it comes to music instead of critizing that particular person for the music that they choose to make. Actors and Actress play different characters in movies and rappers do the same as well so who are we to judge as people. Overall the song is dope and people take things over board when it comes to music.

  15. SWEET PEA

I aint tryna die young. Ima be an old coon, lol! Live normal and stress free! the beat tight but the message sucks! Happy 4th everyone. Dont read into the song to much. Its just music. It is what it is! Welcome back Kanyeezy!

  16. JOJO

I love me some Ricky Rosey

  17. Music has...

    @ Brown Travolta and others….

Music has a more profound effect on the soul than movies do. So in this sense, musicians and actors differ. Also, when you have music on repeat – hearing the message over and over again, it gets embedded into our sub-conscious minds where it then begins to manifest itself in our day to day lives. So people are correct in guarding what they allow into it.

  18. Hold it down

As always Rick Get the best production surrounding him, Justice league now kanye ..the track is nice…Production always on point..
    for the hatas
He is growing as an artist. I too cant wait until he starts rapping with some substance..i too am tired of hearing about the fast life, dope life, high life.
He has the right music behind his voice, now just add some substance
