Mary J. Blige in Chicago over the weekend because she was a performer on the Lilith Fair lineup. She held an after party held at Le Passage night club and introduced her new artist Starshell to the audience. The singer is the first female artist signed to Mary J’s Matriarch record label.

Producer-gone-artist Bei Maejor gives Concrete Loop an exclusive listen at what he’s cooking up on his upcoming free album, uʍop ǝpısdn (Upside Down).

“Gamez,” featuring famed songwriter-turned-artist Keri Hilson, is the first offering from the project, which is hosted by Clinton Sparks and features a flurry of features, which Bei Maejor assures that fans will not be disappointed by.

He also added that he wrote and produced the free album all on his own, and that it will be available for download within the coming weeks.
