i adore m.i.a. and have for years but i can’t tell if the mixing is bad on this performance or if she purposefully wants the song to sound so chaotic. i wouldn’t put it past her. i love the song itself, but it lost a bit of its impact here i think, because the mixing was just so…off. that’s not really the way to promote yourself…i hope there are more appearances so she can really reach more people.
