Yes I agree with the above comments. The album cover is the worst, so is the album name. I know she started off on YouTube with that other name, but she can let it go, no need holding on to it. However, I love her music and she has a nice voice so I wish her much luck.

The album cover is definitely not the right way to present her music. People who are buying her record just off hearing “You’re The One” won’t want to buy it after looking it. Misrepresentation definitely. I understand they are incorporating what her Youtube fans know her as with the food and everything, but they could have done it INSIDE the cover or something.
The music on the other hand sounds incredible, and it’s sad that they are presenting such dope R&B music with such an awful kiddy cover. I hope they figure it out before they ship it out. LOL
Hope she goes far, I love her voice. It reminds me of someone from the early 90′s, like Coco SWV mixed with early Monica.

Okay. So let me first say, that I am rooting for you Dondria and wish you much success. I’m happy that you’re career is taking off and that your first single “You’re the One” has done so well on the charts.
Ok, now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, a little bit of CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. I think that the way she has been marketed has been confusing. “You’re the One” made it seem as though she was targeting young adults. Then this album cover comes out, and now it seems like it’s geared towards teeny boppers. As many have eluded before me, I believe it would be in her best interest to change the cover ASAP. I understand that the content is MOST important aspect of her craft; however, when people decide on whether to buy a product, PRESENTATION plays a HUGE role. As a consumer in the electronic section who is oblivious to who Dondria is , I wouldn’t take a second look at this album based on the cover alone. It’s very childish in nature and looks as though it should be grouped among the Justin Beiber/Miley Cyrus age bracket. I think the “You’re the One” album cover did her image much more justice than this.
With that being said, I wish you all the best Dondria.
I like the vibe of this album, it kind of reminds me of the R&B comfort I found in Ashanti’s first album with some Southern charm and a dash of the Beyonce vocals. This sound is definitely more true than what I heard initially. Dondria and JD needed that time to find her sound.

I don’t mind Dondria – I’ll forever love “You’re The One” and some of these songs in the video sound pretty good, but I don’t buy albums so I won’t buy this one.
The album cover is far from great though .. I guess they were trying to incorporate her “beginning” days but if they wanted to really do Dondria vs. Phatfffat they maybe should’ve added in items to signify the “new” Dondria .. the cover looks like it’s marketed towards children. If I walked past the album I’d give it a second look because of the colours but I wouldn’t pick it up.

I love the creation of the video sampler, but I would have liked to see some commentary from people not directly involved in this project. Final thought please change that cover! They need a female in the camp to get her look together.
Lets just say this, she needs to start working on her second album now if she wants a career. I really wanted to see her make it but this is a epic fail on so many levels. Honestly, this first album promotion is geared mostly toward those fans that have been following Phatfffat uh excuse me Dondria since she got on youtube. If it goes mainstream, that’s just a bonus. Everything about the marketing of this album screams to the over 3mil viewers of her youtube page, who wanted to see this young lady signed and doing something with her gift. Honestly, one thing people know is that JD does not sign clones, so saying she TRYING to (as on purpose) to sound like Bey or Rih is ridiculous. For those who have followed her career from the beginning understand the concept of the album cover and the title of the album.
And yes I understand that they are trying to sell albums, but I’m sure JD remembers when the people at DefJam didn’t even think this young lady had a fan base that could get her to #15 on the Billboard charts, but it happened, so hey, I have bought albums with only 1 hit on them, so I’ve heard 4 on this sampler already, so it’s definitely worth the $. God Bless you Dondria. And remember the HATE comes with the industry, but the GIFT comes from God..do you!
