Singer/songwriter Kandi is back with a new single entitled, “Leave U.”
The new track is produced by Jazze Pha and is on her sophomore album which she has reported to be called B.L.O.G..
In addition to releasing her sophomore album on November 23rd, she will appear again on the upcoming season on the hit Bravo TV show, The Real Housewives of Atlanta on October 4th.

The song is cute…but the beginning her voice sounds like a billy goat and it kinda makes me feel uncomfortable. I like Kandi tho, she deserves some shine.

I like the song. I agree with the person said she was shivering like a goat or something. I was like what the hell? However it grew on me and I am the type to like unique vocalist and uses in singing. My gospel upbringing I guess. Jazze Pha is what drew me to the song. He is one of the best but most underrated producers out there. Lately he’s been putting out songs with artist I wouldn’t normally give a second glance that I’ve really be feeling. This beat is so raw I know the overall instrumentation isn’t unique but it’s the drums that got me going just like Bobby Valentino’s Alter Ego. If she puts out an album she needs more of Jazze’s production.

That sounded like a bunch of mess. It sounded like some old school R. Kelly or something. I’m just not a fan of her voice at all but I am a fan of her.
So on a good note, she seems like a nice person, dresses cute and her hair is always on point.
On to the music, she should just right and stay behind the scenes. I am not really a fan of her voice. The song is better than anything I have heard from her recently so that’s a plus, but it does sound R. Kelly ish. I am not sure why she named her album B.L.O.G because prior to RHOA I never even seen her on any blogs, and even when she joined the cast nobody was talking about her like that so… *shrugs*

Kandy B is that deal. She always has been. I remember singing her parts in all the songs when she had her group. Now that she’s solo it’s amazing because there aren’t many people that can hold it down alone when they’re known for their group. About a year or 2 ago, a friend gave me a cd and one of her songs was on there “You thought I was playing, you-uuuu-you thought I was playing” Gucci mane feature and the beat was hot and she’s great at getting her point across. Kandi makes music that makes sense. You can always play her songs and they relate whether you’re going through it or used to go through it. Her sexy songs are very sexy and what makes her stand out as a woman in this industry is that anyone can enjoy her music, male or female; religious or non religious, hip hop or r&b. Kandi, you go girl. You have to promote more in Chicago boo. Hit up WGCI, B96, V103 and Power 92. I will definitely support your rotation. Holla baby.
