Kelly Rowland premiered a brand new second single for the UK today in the form of “Forever & A Day.”
The David Guetta & Jonas-produced, Andre Merrit-penned track comes from Rowland’s upcoming third studio album, rumored to be titled When Love Takes Over, after the #1 dance hit she had last year.
I’m a little confused about what Kelly’s doing as far as singles, considering that she’s released covers for almost every song that’s leaked thus far from the album. Sherecently shot a 3D music video for “Rose Colored Glasses” and has been doing radio promo with “Grown Woman,” which is her urban single.
In any event, there’s no solid date out on Kelly’s album, but she hopes for a fall release.

My favorite Destiny’s Child. As to what Kelly’s doing with her covers from leaked song, I would say wait and see. I am not confused or bothered by it. Keep the faith.

Throughout her travels with “Destiny’s Child”, Kelly discovered a market for this sound in Europe. So, when the group broke up, she daunted straight over to England where the competition is soft and the audiences are starving for a clean sound from a great looking woman. It’s no wonder Whitney tried to sneak in the back door through Europe. I personally don’t like the music, but it is clean and mainstream. Kelly’s a smart study. She’s paying her bills and staying relevant, by the world standards.
Here in America, she wouldn’t stand a chance with Bey and Rih nem hoggin up all the sun..
This record is dope! She sanging her a$$ off and the melody is great! The music market is different. Alot of artists are releasing various singles prior to there releases and seeing which one moves on the radio. Usher did it, Nicki Minaj did it, Trey Songz has done it (with TWO ALBUMS). So i respect the label for believing in Ms. Kelly and not rushing out her music.

Dance charts have nothing to do with sales or airplay. It is simply the songs that get played a lot in clubs. If all a song did was top the dance charts, the artist made little to no money at all and basically it is a flop outside of the clubs.
Also I liked Rose Colored Glasses, When Love Takes Over, and Commander. BUT I’m starting to notice they are all structured the same way. It starts off pretty much like a normal pop or rnb song, then the beat changes to techno, then she does this over the top yelling note that she struggles to hit live. Thanks but I’ve heard this one before.
