Love it! I love her energy and the video is not that usual boring crap that is in heavy rotation on BET. With the right push, she can do very well as a pop artist.

This lady is in the business for much longer than any of the above mentioned artists she allegedly ripped off. I love Alesha Dixon, she has a different sound and a different voice and she has sold very well in the UK and Europe. I don’t know why you’d feature her on this blog because I honestly wouldn’t expect anyone here to know her and thus appreciate her or her former ‘band’ Mis-Teeq.
She always was my favorite Mis-Teeq girl. Love her.

You americans are quite funny with you lack of knowledge. Alesha Dixon has been around for about 10 years as as part of a very well known UK girl group called Miss-Teeq who were good with RnB sounds (youtube them) after they split up Miss Dixon went solo but she has become quite poppy and alot of her songs are hit and miss, this video is good but the song is quite ?. Some good songs by her include ‘Lipstick’ and ‘Breathe Slow’. She is presented as the UK’s answer to Beyonce…but obviously she’s no where near as good.

I’m from the UK and she’s a decent artist but no amazing imo. Leona is far more talented than her imo.
She is also a judge on Strictly Come Dancing (UK version of Dancing with the Stars). I don’t really like that song imo, i find it too repetative and lacking in any direction. The video is cool though, and very US targeted. I think she wants to crack the US.

Alesha is a beautiful face and a great dancer. But she cannot sing at all if i have to be honest. She was better off as the rapper in Miss-Teeq than a solo singer.

In the u.k people aren’t fan’s of her voice, so I don’t know what make’s her management think it’ll be different for her in the states. The competiton’s alot more fierce in the U.S. I don’t believe her when I watch her perform, it’s like she tries to convince you, but I’m still left saying ‘something aint right’ there’s some missing ingredient’s.
