It was originally reported that the track “Free” was his first single, however this new track, “Restart” is the official single from his album.

I’m listening to it while I comment. It doesn’t grasp my attention how I want it to, but I’m hoping it gets better towards the end. I like to support artists like bilal, but I might have to download the album..and not off itunes.

Dull and meandering. I have no idea what this song is about. The music could be good if the lyrics made any sense and rode the beat harder.
This is dope. It does seem odd by present standards considering he isn’t singing about poppin bottles and fucking bitches at the same time………good production and the vocals blend with it. 1st day Cop!!

I turned the song on and after a minute, almost forgot it was playing. I really like Bilal, so hopefully the rest of the album is better.

Its nothing wrong with this song at all, I personally like it. I get a little 80′s vibe with the beat, smooth!!!!
I am a SUPA DUPA BILAL fan!!!!!! seen him perform plenty and can sing 1st born second and love for sale back n forth acapella including the riffs LOL…… but this song falls VERY flat for me , the fusion isnt happening correctly< his normal energy is lacking, sounds like he’s just f-ing around during rehearsal to get his voice together for the real song. Don’t like it at all…….I will however support though because I believe in real music and he’s an incredible artist !
