Faith Evans is talented, but she learned her “soul” in the church, like Etta James. You’ll see as she gets older that she will start to look more and more like a caucasian as her skin and features start to deteriorate. As “Chic” stated, her mouth is already starting to attain that downward curvature and jowl-hounddog look that is customary to aging Europeans. It is clear that they had to alter this photograph. Her skin even has the redness of the caucasian. When our people take care of themselves and their bodies, eat right and exercise, they maintain their vigor into their 60′s or even 70′s.

I am so glad to see Faith back on the scene with a new album! She is so gifted and she’s been an ‘underdog’ in R&B music for years, so hopefully this will be a successful album for her.
As for the certain individual who wants to claim that Faith is not a “true” black woman, I’d like to ask that individual if he/she is 100% “black” ? If not, then who are you to judge whether someone should be able to identify themselves as black or African American? With your divisive rhetoric, you’re doing exactly what the “oppressors” want us to do, they want blacks to be divided. The light skinned vs. dark skinned, who is or isn’t “black enough” arguments are getting old. I love my people, but some of us really need to grow up.

I have always been a fan of Faith. The verses are cool lyrically, but the hook is just not there. Faith has killer backgrounds…who is this singing her backgrounds? Obviously, she didn’t write this song because if she did she would have her own vocals on the demo which would have been used for the master recording..Kill the demo background singer…sounds like a dude who is trying to be featured. Faith is one of the best female soul singers in the game…she knows her stuff, this single was an executive decision. Not hers. We love you Faith…we know where you come from and what you’ve been thru…we know who stole your riffs…stole ya style….stole ya man….
