The song is cool. I really like JoJo’s music. Glad that she is back!

I’m feelin the vibe of this, love her voice… not so much the autotune if that’s what I hear in some parts.

JoJo has said that her mixtape is experimental, and not a representation of what her new album will sound like. So I don’t think her actual project will have any records like this. I think the song is interesting! Kinda fresh, and definitely unique.

Its crazy people seat her and comment on how she is not showcasing her vocal, but when artists do showcase their vocal no one wants to pay them any mind. This track right here show that she is not a puppet. She loves music and will not get stuck in a box. She is open to trying new things with her voice. And tell me what other female can sing on this track and be this smooth with the VOCALs. I can think of a few but i would love to see what you guys think.

I’m lovin that she wants to experiment & is not afraid to do something different with her music… which is one of the purposes of a mixtape. One of the main reasons why I cannot stand the visitors of concreteloop is because you people will critique ANY AND EVERYTHING! What the hell do yall want? When she was singing her ass off and doing trills and running from the beginning to end you didn’t listen to her. So she tries something unique (even though there is autotune) with some very sensual lyrics if you really listen to it you STILL write it off. You already know this girl CAN BLOW! She don’t need to try to impress you with her vocals on every song. Will some of y’all stop the hate and find something positive to say about SOMEBODY? JoJo is a VERY talented young lady. Yall stay looking for anything to complain about.

I’ve always been a fan of JoJo. She’s extremely talented, intelligent and humble. It’s obvious she’s be experimenting and trying different things these last four years.

Though it doesn’t show off her pipes, it’s nice to see her bust out and try something refreshing and more sensual. Definitely makes me excited for the rest of the mixtape and her album next year!

I found this clip of JoJo singing live on You Tube. I think this is a song from her upcoming album. You can definitely here her blow. I think this “in the dark” record is just something she was experimenting with……afterall, isn’t that what mixtapes are for? Plus, I think the auto tune is there to enhance the vibe of the song. I’m not mad at auto tune when it is used to create a certain vibe. I hate it when labels sign people that can’t sing and use auto tune to shove them down our throats. I love JoJo PERIOD!

Amazing song! TRUE ARTISTRY! Obviously we all know she can sing, we don’t need her to prove her high-belting-notes in every single song. Music is art and JoJo is an amazing artist. I can’t wait to hear the whole mixtape on Sept 7!!!

…..anyway, I love JoJo and her voice is amazing. All she needs is a major label to get her voice back out there and she’s good. She said she went in with Timbo a while back so I’m excited to hear what came from that….she did damage on the few Shock Value 2 tracks her vocals were featured on.

I’ve tried to listen to this several times and I can’t get past the fact that it does sound like soft core porn music like #9 said. LOL

I think someone else mentioned that this sounds like a Janet track which I agree. This song doesn’t do justice to her amazing range and tone though. She keeps releasing songs and now a mixtape, is it safe to say that Jojo is done? I’m starting to believe so, which makes me mad ’cause I have been on this girl since her first album, that voice is undeniable, and she never ever got the right promotion. I really like this song a lot. When you really listen to the words of the song it is has substance and a conscious to it. I like the dark sexiness of it. JoJo great job!
