Singer/actress Keke Palmer has teamed up with charity: water, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. Instead of a receiving gifts this year for her 17th birthday ( Aug 26 ), Keke asks that her family and friends donate $17, and her fans, $10 (if they’re able to spare). Her goal is to raise $10,000. 100% of donations will provide clean water to 500 people in Central African Republic.
