‘ROUND THE WAY: BEYONCE OPENS UP ABOUT FUTURE PLANS

International entertainer, Beyoncé recently opened up in an interview with YOU Magazine and discussed her future plans, killing Sasha Fierce, her idea of beauty and balancing her career and personal life.

On her greatest challenge:
‘For me, balance is always really hard to find. I love so many different things, and to have the discipline to turn certain things away and focus on one thing at a time so that I can give it 100 per cent is really hard.

‘Probably the biggest challenge in my life is time – making sure I have time to be a wife, to be a singer, to be a songwriter, to be an actor and still have time for my clothing line and now for my perfume. I am like any other woman who has a child, who has a husband, who has a job. I think it’s the hardest thing about being a woman because we have so many responsibilities.’

On whether the challenge plans includes a child:
‘My ambition is to continue to learn about the world and to eventually have a family,’ she says with a shy smile.’

On letting go of Sasha Fierce:
‘I don’t need Sasha so much any more because these days I know who I am. It takes time to figure out who you are and I am still discovering different things about myself – as I am exposed to different experiences I think, “Oh, I like this, I didn’t know I liked this.” That’s the journey of life that is so exciting. More and more I know who I am, I know what I like, I know what I want and that makes me feel so free. I don’t need to hide any more,’

NEWS/STORIES: HIV-POSITIVE POP STAR ADMITS HAVING UNPROTECTED SEX WITHOUT WARNING PARTNERS

The trial for German pop singer, Nadja Benaissa began this morning in Darmstadt, Germany. The 28 year-old mother of one has been charged with bodily harm after one of her several sexual partners filed a complaint against her. Benaissa had unprotected sex with up to three men, without warning them about her being HIV-positive.

One of the infected men testified in court today:

The 34-year-old stared at her in the courtroom saying: ‘You caused me so much grief.’ He said he had sex with her five to seven times over a three month period in 2004, at least three of which were without condoms. He maintained contact with her after their affair ended and said it was her aunt who told him in 2007 that she was HIV positive.

The man told the court, ‘My quality of life has shrunk enormously. I cannot travel to many countries. I have been told by my doctor my condition can become full blown Aids at any time. My income is halved but this is not about money. I am getting nausea all the time.’

He said her management offered him a deal to remain silent about her HIV but he said he wanted her to go public with it and pay 100,000 euros to an Aids research charity.

If she had done this, he claimed, he would not have gone to the police.

Nadja’s defense is that she was told that the chance of her infecting a partner was ‘more or less zero.’ If convicted, Benaissa may face a maximum sentence of ten years.
