Seems like prison won’t keep Lil’ Wayne from being out of the public eye.
Young Money signee Shanell took it upon herself to conceptualize a visual for his track, “Ground Zero” from Weezy’s rock album, last year’s Rebirth. The video stars Shanell and was directed by Jessica Hatter.
Before Wayne is released from prison in November, he will release his I Am Not A Human Being EP on September 27th, while Shanell is still working on her debut studio album.
Fefe Dobson is gearing up to release her official sophomore album, Joy.
While currently promoting her second single, “Ghost,” Dobson has given her fans on Twitter and Facebook a chance to check out new material recorded for the forthcoming album in the form of a new track entitled “Stuttering,” produced and co-written by Claude Kelly.

Kanye West announced via his Twitter that he and label head Jay-Z are releasing a five-track album together entitled Watch the Throne.
The first track released from the album is “Monster,” featuring Rick Ross, Bon Iver and Nicki Minaj.
There is no word on a final release date for the joint album, but Kanye is also gearing up to release his fifth studio album, which has been rumored to be called Dark Twisted Fantasy, this November.
