Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz celebrated their marriage on Saturday, July 31, in a ceremony on the French Mediterranean island of Corsica.
Since the couple aren’t French citizens, they were officially married in the States prior to their Mediterranean marriage celebration. The couple is expecting their first child later this year.

It’s funny that you mention that because looking at Keys’ “gown”, it looks like the attire of a Greek fertility goddess. It would be interesting to see the proceedings of each “wedding” (arranged merger between a “god” and “goddess) because 7/31 is a date celebrating fertility in the pagan religions.

You seem to be an intelligent person why waste your time commenting on entertainment sites when you could use your vast knowledge to speak to multitudes of people in a more appropriate forum. It seems to me that you only wish to spark controversy on a blog because in all actuality your comments, assuming maybe there is some truth to your personal logic, are not reaching the audience they should effectively.

Thank you for your concern sir lol. I’m very sure it’s sincere. I already have a widespread outlet that I use, and fortunately in life, a person can and may express himself how he/she wishes where they wish. Hopefully that is not an offence to your personal logic. I think many people take my comments more gravely than they believe I do. I don’t see anything controversial about my commentary, nor should anyone else unless they fit into the demographics I may be speaking against at the time.

another wedding on my bday. I guess 7/31 was the day of proclaimed love this year. Speaking on AK and swizz, I don’t condone how she entered the picture, but the wheel is off the wagon so I guess they better make the best of it. I personally would never want to be a “pregnant bride”…just me..

I keep reading people saying “Pregnant Bride” like she was the first. I honestly think the negative commentors are just trying to find something to say. Denzel & Pauletta, Will & Jada both married while the bride was pregnant. Personally I feel most of the people commenting are just jealous that the deadbeat they are screwing has no plans on marrying them. Bitterness is a disease. It can be cured but you have to want it!

This here folks is what we call a SHOT GUN wedding. I just rolled my eyes at him when ET quoted him as saying that they had been dating since 2008. I was like……… say what… this guy was married (and had impregnanted another side piece other than Alicia) until about what two months ago. How can you be married while acting single? I hope both of them the best. I have been the biggest Alicia Keys fan ever since she first came out with Fallen. I remember standing in line at the FYE to buy the CD on my lunch break. So now since all of this has happened I don’t know how to feel. If Im being honest, I still love her music, I can’t deney that, but right is right and wrong is wron. No one knowes the whole story of exactly what happened, but regardless if she started dating Swiss before he was officially divorced, that was not right. She seems happy and content with her decision, so who are we to judge, its in Gods hands at this poin. My mom always said the “GOD DON’T BLESS NO MESS” so if this is truely some mess, trust and believe it may seem good now, but it will not be blessed. I do hope the best for them though.
