Producer and artist, Timothy “Timbaland” Mosley was subject to a manhunt Tuesday (August 24) after his family called 911 after he left his home and could not be located. His family he was ‘distraught over the theft of a $2 million piece of jewelry’ and were worried that he may harm himself (LISTEN TO THE 911 AUDIO).
The star sat down with Ryan Seacrest earlier this morning to clear the air:
“I don’t know what people are talking about. Why would I commit suicide? Something did happen. It wasn’t a watch [that was stolen]. It was something else took a drive to figure out how I’m going to handle it.”
The rapper-producer understands that “people got worried.” When police tracked him down on the Pacific Coast Highway, he recognized the officer and assured him that everything was fine after being told of his family’s concern. [ READ MORE ]

I seriously doubt he was about to kill himself over a $2 million piece of jewelery. I’m going to take a leap of faith and assume that if he does purchase expensive pieces in the range, he’s smart enough to have them appraised and insured, to recoup his loss in the event of theft or damage. Someone probably pissed him off royally and he just needed to get away before he did something he’d end up regretting. I think we can all relate.
