Melanie Fiona’s voice is ALRIGHT. It could use some improvement. I don’t want the girl to start off okay and then decline like Alicia Keys. AK’s voice has completely went downhill but as I watch her old old performances, she was never this GREEEAT vocalist. It’s just that we loved the fact she could play the piano. Her voice is overhyped. And people think just because Melanie Fiona sings rnb that she is some fantastic vocalist but she still needs work. And those lyrics to her songs are not hot. If it were to be a fast paced song it would sound something like Teairra Mari.

Melanie has strong pipes and could be a real powerhouse songstress. She has to choose more than mediocre material to sing. I think she has to work on her image a bit, she is really sweet though. Gaga some years ago, was a sweet and underrated singer and look at her now.
I love the artist she used to be but the single she was given doesn’t fit, seems like she’s being sold for quick success instead of long term I hope if she continues we get some of her original flavor too its okay to switch things up but don’t forget why u were noticed…for being you.

Melanie Fiona is an incrediable artist and has a great voice. She sings most of the chicks on the radio under the table including the popular ones. Her album is hot from top to bottom. She’s got that real thang!
Melanie has a beautiful voice, but I agree with above posters, she had the most mediocre songs on her debut album. I really hope she gets w/ some better song wriiters and producers for the next album

I love her! That deep gritty sound in her voice is so dope. Her next album should have better material though, because honestly it was like one hit “It Kills Me”, and the rest were album fillers.
