Did you hear “The Introduction of Marcus Cooper?” by Pleasure….It came out the same year as Trey’s “Ready” and I, in support of both of them downloaded the albums from Itunes…. and Pleasure P’s album had amazing jointz from 1 to 14.. Trey’s… not so much.
Pleasure definately deserves more credit for his music. The boy goez hard, mixtapes and album.

I cant stand him these days sorry! He was doin his thing back in the days, he was himself and not an oversexed act. It’s just sex, sex & more sex with his albums, the goal is to sell, and it’s not done in a tasteful way, well at least for me, he tried to do R.Kelly too damn much while nobody cant fuck with R.Kelly, not even Usher; R.Kelly is pure genuine R&B, even the vocals, he is trying to sing like R.Kelly now. And of course, why are yall surprised? He is milkin the success of the last singles, the fire is hot so he must keep it burning I guess. Some artists are in the game just to gain money & fame, they dont that in the name of art.

Glad to see Trey finally gettin alot of credit, but honestly this CD was rushed!! U can tell the label and his team wanted to ride off the success of his “Ready” album and put out another in a year…. This new album is NOT worth the hype AT ALL!!
However… Marques Houston’s new album “Mattress Music” is the SHIIIIIT! Its a str8 bedroom banger from beginning to end. I wasnt expecting his album to be better than Trey’s but it is. #ImJustSaying

I second that #13. When did he get out? He forreal popped up like a “Ghost.” (had to see Takers to get the joke). Anyways I liked Trey Songz way better when he was sang songs with substance. When “Just Gotta Make It” came out, I LOVED Trey Songz, even when “Last Time” and “Wonder Woman” came out, I loved Trey Songz. I think when he lost the braidsis when he lost it for me.
Trey is a boring artist to me. Soooo….Bobby V, though you are underrated drop a full disc cuz ya joints are pretty hot. That joint Scratches Over My Body is SICKKK.

and i do agree (even though i am a HUGE fan) that the album was rushed. He should have waited at least another 6 months before releasing this album. I think he could have done a lot better
save your coins for this release is a downer, rushed,horrible production,no solid hits, it is so depressing, no real jams or stellar hooks that were on ready and his first two releases, the magic that showed promise trey had is gone, now is an arrogant,sexed performer who thinks he is more talented than he really is, sad to say Raheem DeVaugh,Anthony Hamilton, Kem, Jahiem,Eric Roberson, Raphael Saddiq,Donnell Jones have the skills and talent, especially in live shows,with real musicians, none of the programmed synthesizers chords,autotone and studio wizard-try that Trey is using. Sad to say hope the success of this release be a wake up call to Trey you should have taken your time and fans deserve better than amateur follow-up to your biggest cd to date, this cd showed no growth,just a sexed out cd w/no substance,just played out beats.

Check your local latin networks and you will see that latinos have it ALL.. news,talk shows, game shows,soap opera etc. BLACK WOMEN TAKE ACTION AND DO SOMETHING!! I loved Trey’s new album. The ppl commenting must not heard the album. It showed growth. And he didn’t have a lot of sex songs on their either. It was much better than Ready in my opinion. It wasn’t better than his first two albums though. Marques Houston’s album is trash, that is all.
I agree with # 28!! – And I also am in agreement with those who have commented and said that Trey released PPP too soon, and that he should have at least waited until the Summer of 2011! Now, that would have been one HOT Summer!!! However, I was a little skeptical of what PPP would have brought to the table because I feel it came out too soon. But as we know, most artist are in the business to make money, as well as music. So him wanting to keeping the fire burning for his Success is NOT a bad thing, especially when it’s been soooo long since he got the proper recognition he deserved when he was putting out less sex filled songs in his previous albums. But in this SEX CRAZED world we live in, that is sadly what sells. But after carefully listening to PPP extremely Loud
it’s HOT FIRE!!! The production on it is Sick, and his Passion and range on the song are awesome! This CD definitely is WORTH all of the HYPE!! And not to mention he has a gorgeous SMILE to go along with his sweet and charming personality. He truly loves and appreciates his fans. No other artist takes the time he does with his fans, because he realizes that WE make him who he is TODAY!

Rappers were doing it (dmx put 2 albums out a yr i believe twice) regardless if he got shine becuz of chris brown losing fans..somebody should take ova the reign..& that trey songz held it down while usher & chris breezy & r. kelly were trying to get themselves 2gethr (musically & personally)
i apprerciate the gd music trey provided us this past yr & i truly hope he brings us more with this next album..he has workd very hard 2 get where he is at & i appreciate him for it
