Guess who was spotted chill mode while shopping in Brentwood, California on Tuesday afternoon? Hint: Her father produces/directs most of Russell Simmons’ projects for T.V.
It’s actress Sanaa Lathan. She was spotted putting some stuff into her car in Brentwood, California. Her father Stan Lathan produced and directed shows like Def Comedy Jam, Run’s House and Moesha.
According to the paps, she was camera shy but still in good spirits. Sanaa is still doing voice work for the popular FOX cartoon, The Cleveland Show, and has a couple of movie projects

She ran and made that movie, “Something New”, to help Hollywood cast even more spells on the average black woman than they already have, and in hopes that in doing so that she would get more and better roles. Even after doing that, she still can’t get any roles in Hollywood. The only black female getting major money in Hollywood is Halle Berry, and that’s for going topless in “Swordfish” and doing that pornographic scene with “Billy Bob” Thornton in “Monster’s Ball(s)”, and she can’t even get major dramatic roles lol.
