I still got Jon B. CD from waaaaay back in the day… He was pretty good… He may have lost it a bit though cause he’s older now…& plus the music has changed (for the worst).

Robin Thicke wishes he was JonB. I saw Jon @ BBKings in NYC a while back and he sounded great live. Just like his CD! He def lost it since Babyface’s protege days but he sure has talent.
I saw him again in NYC not too long ago and he is def rusty and is getting old. Now Robin non singing femme azz grabbed his space so there is no room for him. RnB is not like it used to be anymore so cats like him, Avant, Donnell Jones, Joe, Chico Debarge, Brian McKnight and others you would hear on KissFM back in the day have no market. Robin can not compete with them.

This is a really nice song, I think we’re so accustomed to so much going on in a song nowadays that when a song comes around like this some people say its boring. I thought it was more of a timeless song. I am happy he didn’t jump on some autotune or rap band wagon. He kept it classic

I grew up listening to Cool Relax. Jon B is def what is needed in the R&B world. This is def a slow burner I digs it. But I could hear J Holiday singing this too. Good song tho.

People always complain about what’s out there in music while artists like Mr. Buck remain hidden gems! Jon writes and sings from the heart, and he always has.
