Classless, and to include the lil boy to also say the F word is low. Why!
LMAO! I loved it. I love his voice =)
^^^^^^^^^^Ya’ll thinks it’s okay to use the F word. Gawd! . . . . a crying shame shame shame.
Oh President Obama, please help, as he has said he will, he needs to speed it up with the education changes he said he would make. America is in a critical state in need of education reform if the minds of the shallow are wasting and is low. It is true, the mind is a terrible thing to waste and the greatest pain is when adults are placing a dumbing down burden on the kids. Pres. Obama please help. Not F u but how about forget u! Thats better. A word to the children, parents, adults, and all else from the wise, . . . . wake up! . . . use your dictionary!
Fun and funny ass song! Fun and funny ass video!
Hello Hip-Hop!!!! How you been? Ain’t seen this side of you in a minute!
@ 13….. Seriously… this is a hip-hop song…….. ppl not about to stop cursing anytime soon, probably ever. Some things are not gonna change, so YOU have to be the person to omit from YOUR LIFE, what you don’t want to be a part of. And parents have to be responsible for what their kidz listen to, personally, I think the song is PG13.
It’s CLEARLY to make ppl laugh and have a good time. #ChillOut
the kid is atleast a teen (13) just look alil young
some of yall actin like you never some kids curse before
and he even mouth the word
You guys do realize ther’es an edited version of this video to hit TV right? Exactly, so why are you bitching again? ‘Cause I just said bitching? Whatever
Love it!!! It’s a perfect BITE of his work with The Heart Attack though.
Amen #13 I didn’t even listen to the song don’t have to knowing the f word is being used is good enough for me not to listen
It’s a shame senseless minds are running around condoning this type of language used, our brothas are in dire need of some spiritual guidance seriously and the sistahs as well who are okaying this degrading mess…
Athough there wasn’t cursing in my household I pray I’d think the same way if there were, b/c no matter what a person environmental circumstance, we all have that innate feeling of what’s right and wrong, that is if you have a good spirit
I like it and @ sayitloud- geesh lighten up it’s a song/video & I’m sure he is saying what lots of people are thinking, Including you Mr/Mrs holier than thou.
N-word use. Kids cursing. Not a smart move. He could have used adults only, especially if it’s based on “golddiggers.” Kids mouthing “FUCK YOU” is NOT cool.
@11,13,15,19,21:
FUCK YOU! and FUCCK YOU, TOO!
i don’t think children should be used to make his point because there’s something TOTALLY unrealistic about his lyrics overall
#23
You must be a virgin if you don’t think these lyrics are realistic.
wow, that was hilarious, i loved it.
Why does this look like Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream ????
@ 15. I dont care what song it is, hip hop or no hip hop, or whether ppl. curse or not. How does a parent take responsibility when fools are playing/blasting this mess of a song in airshot of the children? Tell me. If and when this song hits the airwaves and is promoted and pushed by a record label/company, how does a parent protect the child? Imagine the children of America running around singing the words. NO WISE MAN SHOULD INSULT A KID AND NO FOOL SHOULD TOO. My dear I can make that omission 4 me, but this omission is and cannot be made overall, when and if this song impacts all over.
@ 19. Thank u and u r very wise. U must have come from quite a mentally healthy household. @ 20. I wont lighten up on this song/video. To do so means I condone this piece of work and I dont. It is wrong to do so, 19. knows this and u should too. Whether or not u or I think it, it is wrong to condone it and like this in this way. I take u calling me the name u did as a compliment!
The song would be soo much more enjoyable if there wasn’t so much cussing. I think it’s catchy and I like it but I hatee the cussing.
And I agree with some of the other comments about the kid mouthing the f word – that’s so not cool. Even if he’s like 13 (like someone pointed out) that’s still not okay ..
One or two cuss words – whatever, but like 50? Nuh uh.
And yes I know there must be an edited version out.
anyway the one who played his H.S years was kinda cute
Why do so many of us always bow down to the lowest common denominator. Only a Black man could put this out and have people TRYING to praise it. Kids should not be in a video that’s talking about golddigging WOMEN and driving cars (they can’t even drive!). Again, stop shooting for the lowest common denominator all the time. And he uses the n-word on top of all the cursing — in a video with a bunch of KIDS. Ridiculous. Keep this kind of material aimed at adults — minus the n-word.
hate the N-word but I heart this video!!!!
From a musical and creative standpoint..this is awesome!!
I can see what some people are saying about the kids mouthing bad words and things, but i dont think it’s the worst. If a parent didnt want their child to be in the video, then he or she would simply decline or not tryout for the role. In that case, the parent is the one to blame…
@ SAYITLOUD
Can’t say that you don’t have a valid point. I just don’t take songz like these that serious… Not when most of the music we hear on the radio is about drugs and violence…. This one is mediocre regarding the destruction of our youth.
Now holla@ me about the boy Waka, Gucci, Geezy, Ross, the 1s that are all over the radio, television, and internet right now, glorifying goin’ hard in the paint, luvin’ dem gun sounds, sellin’ brickz, living fast lives and dying young. That tugz @ my heart stringz…. the shit, fuck, or N word don’t bother me.
Hilarious! And I like the fact that he’s not afraid to be different in this mainstream loving society!
This is my shit right here! Cant say im going through that, but I LIKE!
CL, I see yall are promoting Howard homecoming but you leaving out the Greatest Homecoming in the land.
OH YEAH!! shout out to all my Aggies, homecoming is soon here. Hopefully, I’ll see you this year but my son is due Oct 2nd so probably not!
But anyway….
AGGIE PRIDE! LOL
When I say me and my girl was rollin’ here at work (after hours of course)!!! LOL
Too many ignorant people on here. Cussing is not necessary to make a song and wasn’t needed here but that being said he wrote it how he wanted to so parents need to lock down their house and cars if they don’t want to have their children hear it. Just know that as you see on here there are many IDIOTS who think it’s ok, so your children probably will hear it in the street somewhere. You can only control your house and car and maybe pulling you kids away from certain things as they happen but most of the time the damage is already done. Love the video and Cee-Lo’s vocals that boy got soul. The music is good to but like I said the F-word was not necessary I’ve told people off in harsher terms without cussing. I let them know that they were all types of dirt without it, they even said it was worse than if I cussed. So that being said. To each their own.
I digg the video.
Very cute ^_^
Cee-lo is genuine to his cause (whatever it maybe).lol
He deserves the respect, even tho not always justified to. He has a unique expression in conveying messages. I like the way he occasional incorporates 1960/1970′ s era phenomena into his videos/songs. Intelligent guy*
To all the naysayers, my question to you is…WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU TO TELL SOMEONE ELSE HOW TO EXPRESS THEIR ART?
I’ll give you a hint, NOBODY.
You not feelin it? Fine. But to tell someone else how to express what they feel is another thing. Could he have said screw you or something to that effect? Of course he could have. But that’s not how he felt. He said fuck you cause guess what? At that raw emotional level that’s how he felt. Why should he censor that to appease you holier than thou.
Furthermore, words have the power you give them. If fuck wasn’t considered an undesireable word by society it would be something else. Get over it.
shameful that they used little kids to mouth curse words, while “nigga” is used in the lyrics. yeah, we get it, lots of families, especially blacks, have this kind of language in them. It doesn’t mean they SHOULD. Shame on the parents that let their kids sing this, as it’s classless, and encourage uncivil discourse in society.
Had they not used kids in the video, I wouldn’t care. The catchiness of the song is obvious, but how shameful it’s going to be for those families to explain why they let their little girls and that boy be in a video with vulgar language NOT for kids.
For those that say PUH-lease…. um, you sayin’ kids should be allowed to say this stuff to their teachers? nigga and fuck you? shameful!
