This song is AWESOME! You can tell that she can sing, listen to her swagger and tone on track. It sounds like it would’ve worked great as a theme song for “Kill Bill.” It’s got that throwback fill to it.
Having said that, I still think Ceelo’s version in Date Night is the best, but this is a different spin on the song…and she does her thing.

this song is really not that bad. yes she has a different tone, but this sounds like she has a lot of european influences i.e., duffy, adele. i think its catchy. i look forward to hearing more from her.
Liked the song, just not the vocals!!!! I don’t remember her ever sounding this horrible. I was rooting for Melody so bad. Ugh!! They need to redo this vocals now!!! I don’t want to hear screeching through an entire song.

I like Mel otherwise I wouldn’t have clicked on it. But lord Jesus THIS is a hot ass roasted mess. She sounds terrible. Her voice is too thin and annoying to be singing this high. She need needs to lower the key because I can’t take this at all.

I am surprised. It’s like Nelly Furtado and Old School Aretha had an attractive Asthmatic child that was a little tone death.
In summation, it’s good now just like every other song it’s success will rely on the video.

OMG! She butchered this song! It sounds like someone is stepping on a cat. The original verson was actually sung by Cee lo and Lauren Bennett and was in the movie “Date Night”. I have been patiently waiting for Cee lo to release Lady Killers because Lauren Bennett stated they had recorded the song for that LP. I’m sooooo disappointed!
