‘ROUND THE WAY: SEAN “DIDDY” COMBS SUED FOR $12 MILLION BY FORMER EMPLOYEE

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was hit with a $12M lawsuit filed by Francesca Spero, the former VP of Management and Publishing at Bad Boy Entertainment. The 51 year-old claims that Diddy was not sympathetic to her medical condition and believes that she was a victim of age discrimination.

According to TMZ.com:

In the docs, Spero claims she and Diddy — aka Sean Combs — butted heads after she informed him that she needed major hip surgery in 2008 … and then later “suffered a relapse” to an addiction to prescription medication and alcohol. Spero claims Diddy was “unsympathetic to her condition” — and ultimately tried to freeze her out of the company. Spero says she continued to do her work — signing new artists — but was eventually fired in March 2010…and replaced by a woman 10-15 years younger who “lacked the skill set and experience Spero brought to the position.” [ SOURCE ]

A spokesperson for Mr. Combs told TMZ, “This is a grab for money by someone who concedes in her complaint to having had a drug relapse while on the job and an employer who was not satisfied with her work.”

I am no Diddy fan but he certainly has the right to decide who should work for his company. If her firing had been solely based on the hip replacement then maybe she could attribute her exit to ageism but shes also a druggie? please prescription or not, NEXT. I will take a less experienced younger DRUG free employee over a drugged out robo hipped employee.
    Thx

Maybe he needs to hire a new spokesperson, because that released statement was syntactically f*cked up.

    Lool she can’t be serious.
I don’t even know what to say about this, she’s complaining because he was “unsympathetic” about her addictions?? She wouldn’t be getting any sympathy from me.

And the age discrimination thing – unless she heard that she was too old or something then she can’t get anything from that. If he hired someone older she’d say age discrimination as well. And who is she to judge the new persons skills?

In conclusion: I doubt she’s getting a dime.
Where is she going with $12 mill?

People need to realize that Empolyment is at will. Some jobs can let you go without any reason. with the legal team he has, I am sure they have evrything in order(if they are a good legal team).

Actually…when someone is on drugs the company is suppose to get them help. You can’t fire them based on that. The laws are always slanted in a weird way…ain’t that crazy.

Some companies can fire you at will without even telling you why. They don’t have to provide treatment for you. This lady has no grounds for a lawsuit, especially if her defense is “he was unsympathetic”. Unsympathetic is subjective and will not stand in court. Being addicted to drugs and alcohol puts her and her job at risk. The person that said her addiction didn’t affect her job lacks understanding. I guarantee if someone came to her jobs doorstep with a free bottle of presciption pain meds and a crate of booze she would get up and leave to take it.

I’m not trying to throw shade but this man is just tooo arrogant for me to even care. i’m sure he won’t pay it anyway
