Comedian/actor Steve Harvey will be releasing his new book, Straight Talk, No Chaser: How to Find, Keep and Understand A Man, a follow-up to his best-selling relationship book, Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man. The radio personality spoke about what to expect from his upcoming book:
“I go so deep into the mindset of men, and how we operate and function, and I give women real things that they can do, to help in their relationship. You know, look man, men are not bad people. But women think we’re bad because they don’t get us at all. We’re very, very simple. We all think alike. We all basically think alike when it comes down to commitment, love, relationships, money, sex, whatever it is. We all about basically think the same.” [ SOURCE ]

BRUNO MARS ARRESTED FOR DRUG POSSESSION
Singer-songwriter Peter “Bruno Mars” Hernandez was reportedly arrested for ‘suspicion of narcotics possession’ on Sunday morning (September 19) at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV. The 23 year-old was arrested at 2:40 a.m. after Hard Rock security guards confronted Mars and discovered him in a bathroom with narcotics. No word on whether he has been released from jail. And of course, Mars’ debut album Doo-Wops & Hooligans is set to be released on October 5th.

Udky but I’m not surprised about Bruno Mars. For some reason I get that same vibe about him that I get about Kid Cudi when it comes to fame. The higher they get, the less they can handle, the more they bury themselves in the drugs. But they aren’t the only ones, it’s a lot of hollywood, many just haven’t been caught.

Steve..been married four times. Dogged out his 3rd wife!! Finally got light skinned, long hair, light eyes who was not there through all the pain and hard work but reaping all the benefits!! All I can say is I am glad he got saved because she is going to take his ass strait to the bank!

A lot of folks are being busted for cocaine possession. Cudi must be right, it must be an excellent drug for dealing w/ the pressure and struggles of the Hollywood life.
I can’t understand why people continuously use black women and the supposed lack of “good” black men to make money. This seems to be the “in thing” let’s write books and go on TV and talk about how bad it is for a black woman to find a man oh and while we’re at it let’s make some money too. Seriously black women have been exploited enough now people are using the lack of men to continue to exploit them and make money…I don’t like Steve Harvey or care to read anything he has to say he’s a prime example of a “no good black man” the Strawberry letters to his show are ridiculous all he does is get on his self righteous soap box and tell people how to live tell some jokes and move one…. that’s just my opinion.

If Steve Harvey is addressing a concern that is very much alive in our community, namely, the dysfunctionality of our relationships, we must give him all the respect he deserves. Those of you who are criticizing his book because of his failed past relationships don’t realize that if anybody is truly qualified to address this issue, it’s someone like him who has been through several relationships and can bring a unique perspective. No one is forcing you to buy the book so shut the hell up if you have nothing positive to contribute.
