Kanye West debuted his short film Runaway at the Landscape Sunshine Cinema in New York City on Thursday night (October 21).
The rapper came out prior and after the showing of the self-directed project and briefly discussed the film. Among those to attend were Selita Ebanks, Swizz Beatz, LA Reid, Chrisette Michelle and John Legend.
Runaway will air on MTV and BET on Saturday, October 23rd at 8/7pm CST.

The outfit looked better in person on Kanye. He was so proud to premiere his new video; it was like he was presenting a class project. I wasn’t expecting him to come to the front of the theatre and stand right in front of us. And Selita looked AMAZING in the video. The hair, makeup and everything else came together perfectly. You don’t have to like Kanye, but you have to respect his vision (as well as any other artist).
