Kanye West reveals the cover for his brand new album, My Beautiful, Dark, Twisted Fantasy via his Twitter page over the weekend. However, don’t expect to see the graphic depiction, illustrated by George Condo, on shelves when the album drops, because Kanye also announced that the cover art has been banned in the United States.
Here’s what he had to say, on Twitter:

In the ’70′s, album covers had actual nudity… It’s so funny that people forget that… Everything has been so commercialized now. I know that cover just blew y’all minds… I wish y’all could see how hard I’m smiling right now!
In all honesty, I really don’t be thinking about Wal-Mart when I make my music or album covers. I wanna sell albums but not at the expense of my true creativity.”
Interesting, Kanye. So it’s going to be quite interesting to see what will be on the cover in the US when the album hit stores on November 22nd.

half of you people don’t know what you guys are talking about. the art has nothing to do with religious views. the artist George Condo painted it and his artwork is very abstract and dark. just because he isn’t having the kanye bear on the cover doesn’t make the dude evil. many rock artist such as Judith priest, AC/DC, Trent reznor and many others even some Soul artist have use dark album art to reflect the meaning of the album. its just sad when a black person in the urban society does something more artistic and m meaningful yall start to question that persons beliefs. when a lot of these rappers moral values should of been in question in the first place. all of yall that complain listen to artist that sell crack to other people in our community and that is far more a devlish deed than someone using art to express their emotions even their darker emotions. people need to look within themselves and press reset because this is ridiculous majority of yall can’t even appreciate or understand the magnitude that art has on the world and if someone can capture it in a strange way then so be it. the world isn’t cut and dry and the world isn’t always a happy place. more people than yall know are in dark places right now but yall will never know if yall don’t take your veils off and understand that people are deeper than coke raps. people are out here going through deep shit everyday and making assumptions about someone that yall don’t know shows the devil in yourself. so don’t make a ass of yourself and because yall don’t know kanye.

I really hope this album flops, I am usually not like that but he needs counseling about life and start from the drawing board. If racist whites/group had this as a painting or album cover, the black community would be in an uproar. About how a black man is depicted as a monkey,animal or demon craving the flesh of a woman.
