Nicki Minaj finally unveils the album cover for her much awaited debut album, Pink Friday. Much of Nicki’s project has been kept under wraps, but it seems as though she’s been giving the fans what they’ve wanted, including releasing her album a day earlier than originally planned on November 22nd.

I heard that Kanye’s album was supposed to be out the same day, maybe that’s why she pushed her’s up a day early! I’m just guessing. I like her style she’s different.

I think this is great and creative, it captures her whole Barbie movement. I can’t wait for her album I’m not gone lie. I wasn’t with the shyt in the beginning but she mos def grew on me and I hope that she is real successful with this album. Why not? If the album is no good I will be sooooo disappointed though.

I can’t believe I’m saying this but I LOVE the cover – I like the shades of pink and the white at the bottom AND the way the dress is blowing up like that! Definitely would catch my eye in a store .. but my eye would keep wandering ’cause I’d soo never buy an album of hers.

The pale pink/purplish and white gradient is absolutely beautiful. I love the setting and colors of this album cover. It’s so soft, feminine, and lovely. The way the back of her chiffon dress is blown up is extremely artistic and interesting. I get that she’s going with a Barbie theme, but they could have least photo shopped those legs better and made them look more realistic. They look too awkward. And her face looks stupid. If she was going to look like a doll, she should have practiced with a high fashion photographer because in editorials, models capture that very well in a beautiful and intriguing way. The font face of the title is perfect.
Even though she does look deranged, y’all gotta admit that the graphic designer and photographer did the damn thing with the whole cover. I mean, look how artistic it is. It definitely does make you anticipate her album even more whether you’re not a fan and just curious to see what she has in store, or are a fan and can’t wait to hear what she’s coming with.
Of course her legs have to be spread. What else does she have to offer?

Nice, but I have a feeling this album is gonna be a flop regardless of the fact that it’s being released 4th quarter in time for the Holidays. Who are her real supporters besides gay males??? She doesn’t sell sex enough to make dudes cop it, and her new ‘style’ of rap is hardly as lyrical as her mixtape stuff to make anyone outside of her fanbase appreciate her as a lyricist.
