Lloyd debuts the video for his first single, “Lay It Down,” produced by Polow Da Don. The track comes from Lloyd’s upcoming fourth studio album, King of Hearts. The video was directed by Mikey Finnigan and showcases Lloyd with his new haircut. The new album is slated to hit stores at the top of next year.

And I like that its not overly explicit. This brings romance back to music. I love the swag he had with the video I love how it was shot. Whenever he make videos or sings he seems genuine. I like that about him.
Vocals were weak in some spots and I would of like to see a differnt leading lady. She is to raunchy and plastic looking. Almost as if she was some hooker he picked (sorry lol) BUT the leading lady should’ve been more elegant looking.

Annnnndddd…. I like the fact that he actually used the same girl thoughout. I don’t understand videos for songs that are supposed to be romantic but the guy is referencing three or four girls. It was actually sweet. He wasn’t humping on her or being disrepectful. he went home with her and put forth some effort. I love Lloyd. I don’t think he gets enough shine since he’s not constantly talking about sex, or he at least does it differently. I prefer him to Trey actually.
