Ciara joins forces with Usher for the brand new track, “Turn It Up.” The new track comes from Ciara’s oft delayed release, Basic Instinct, a follow-up to 2009′s Fantasy Ride. Ciara has confirmed that Basic Instinct will hit stores December 14th.

I love this song. CiCi needs to do more pop and do pop with her RnB. This sh8 is hot and a hit. Her voice suits with this sound very well. Ride is a good first single but she should go with this for pop now. She and Usher did a great job here. If she did this song w/o Usher she did well with it still. She needs to release this QUICK!

It’s a smash record and a really big sound worldwide even though it isn’t mastered…I think they need to focus on Gimmie Dat/Speechless for right now though and then put this out. Ester Dean said it’s going on the album, she would know as it’s her song. The white blogs love it so there’s no reason not to put it on there. There’s no reason Ciara should have to do a completely r&b album when she’s never done one in her life. Not Goodies, Not The Evolution and not FR. None of them were straight r&b so why start now. She does have white fans and an international audience as well ya know.

Neasha, what are you and the rest of the delusional fans talking about? Ciara has always done URBAN CROSSOVER! There’s a difference between that and pop, for example, Trey Songz. Ciara has never done pop or electronic music like Rihanna, Beyonce, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and Britney Spears. Her music has always been up-tempo R&B with a catchy tune. That’s not pop honey. People who don’t know understand the definition of pop will think that anything that goes straight to the top of the charts or has a catchy beat that you can dance to is pop when it may not be.
This song is horrible! IT SOUNDS LIKE ONE OF THOSE R&B TRACKS TRYING TO BE POP but failed to do so! It sounds empty and her voice is so annoying. Y’all like that little girl, airy type voice she got going on? Her and Usher don’t sound right on a song together. And this wouldn‘t go anywhere. It’s boring, not catchy or pop enough, and just sounds a mess. This is nowhere as mainstream as DJ got Us Falling in Love, California Girls, Bad Romance, or Only Girl.
