The original is great. The remix is nice, not needed, but nice.

Second listen i feel in love with the record it felt like ole school r&b music. (classic)
Trey Songs could have eased up on the ab libs IMO but he singing with a real R&B vocalist so what do you expect?

i love monica’s orignal and even though i’m also a trey songz fan, i believe that original is still better. she didnt need to make a remix.

and old school monica was so much better, she hit home.

I Love MO!!!! but the only issue i got is she always takes the backseat to her career! (IF IT AINT BROKE DONT FIX IT!) The song was HOT already!! The original was BEST, you can’t add to perfection…and if you do its no longer perfected, its just blah. Trey added nothing to the song, he actually took away from it with is nasal sound, but im sure it’ll grow on me. For those lames wishin they had the ole Monica back..im confused…where did she go? TeamMonica2010 and beyond.

Now while I prefer the original also BUT this is not bad at all!!! Trey was doing some EXTRA stuff that really wasn’t needed but I can still dig it!! What do you guys mean you miss the old Monica? This remix is not too bad, but I honestly love the original version way better!…Monica has one of the best album’s out in my opinion particularly because it is all her vocals and she didn’t feel the need to add a whole bunch of collaborations to it. I wanted her to release “mirror” next just because it is a nice mid tempo song.

I agree with wanting the old Monica back.. Her voice is sooo pitchy now, and she doesnt posess the same vocal control or abilities as she used to. I think she sounded more mature and unique when she was younger.. No one can say that she didnt sing the life out of the entire Miss Thang album, she obviously cant sing like that anymore. I am a Monica fan, and it doesnt make me any less of a fan for speaking the truth. Oh I think Trey does sond like a goat with that super fast vibrato…LMAO

This remix is NOT doing it for me AT ALL. Trey REALLY messes it up. The original is indeed my favorite song on Monica’s album. These “I-want-the-old-Monica” comments are confusing to me as well. She’s never lost herself or skills. She’s one of the few REAL SINGERS left in the game.
