MUSIC NEWS: WILLOW REVEALS COVER ART / PINK FRIDAY DROPS A DAY EARLY / MORE DIRTY MONEY RELEASE DATE INFO

Willow Smith reveals the cover art for her highly talked-about single, “Whip My Hair.” She recently shot a video for the song with director Ray Kay and will drop by BET’s 106 & Park to premiere the clip on October 18th.

PINK FRIDAY DROPS A DAY EARLY

Fans will be able to run out and grab Nicki Minaj’s highly anticipated debut album, Pink Friday a day earlier than they expected!

Originally slated to release on November 23rd, the animated Young Money signee has moved her album up one day. Pink Friday will hit shelves on Monday, November 22nd, the same day Kanye West’s My Beautiful, Dark, Twisted Fantasy, Akon’s Stadium, Jay-Z’s The Hits Collection, Vol. 1 and Ne-Yo’s Libra Scale.

Seems like that Monday has a lot going on. It’ll be interesting to see which album will be flying off the stores’ shelves. And even more interesting to see the week after, what the charts and numbers will look like.

Check out the remix of what was supposed to be R&B songstress Monica’s second single, “Here I Am,” featuring none other than her tour mate, Trey Songz.

The remix, produced by Polow Da Don and co-written by Ester Dean, will be the third single from Monica’s latest studio album, Still Standing, which will be great cross-promotion for Trey Songz’s new project, Passion, Pain & Pleasure. Both albums are in stores now.
