You can’t tell Will don’t look a little zeisty in these pics. SOmething is off about him

  2. Luvbug

THIS FAMILY HAVE BECOME A BUNCH OF WEIRDOS. JADA FACE LOOKS SO HARD, JEEZ. LOOK AT WILLOW WITH POLISH ON AS USUAL, YET SOME OF YOU THINK SHE IS JUST SO CUTE. ONLY REASON WHY IS THAT SHE IS WILL AND JADA’S CHILD, PATHETIC. I DO NOT LIKE THE SMITH’S ANYMORE AND WILLOW GROWN BEHIND GETS UNDER MY SKIN.

  3. Diamond Latrelle

Cute Kid. They should not have let her shave her hair like that. That was nice of 106 & Park. The video is cute & Colorful.

  4. Simmie

I love how appreciative she was of that plaque. So sweet and a reminder of her young age. She’s a cutie pie and a “super star” in the making. I’m definitely a fan and will buy her album when she drops it. In the meantime I will be whipping my head back and forth.

PS : These corny people on this blog talking madness need to get a life because bashing people and hating is soooooo old. Sitting ducks!

    @ LUVBUG

HOW PATHETIC ARE YOU HATIN ON A 9 YEAR OLD??? YOUR LIFE MUST BE SOOO PATHETIC AND UNPRODUCTIVE FOR A 9 YEAR OLD TO GET UNDER YOUR SKIN…..JEALOUS HUH LMAO……WISH YOUR LONELY LIFE WAS HALF AS EXCITING AS HERS SMDH….

  7. Nina

I think this is a great song for kids!!!! She’s cute, and I think she acts her age. I don’t understand how grown people hate on children.

  8. vari

love the song & love the Smiths!

  9. SEXYHARLMEM

She is ADORABLE.. She has such a bright future ahead of her. And she has Great parents to keep her grounded and protected, from demons in the industry.

  10. UM... I GUESS

So cute, love it. She acts very age appropriate which is why I’m such a fan of hers and her parent for seemingly doing a good job at keeping her grounded.

  11. Destinee

I think when people speak bad about children is pathetic. Her father and mother are great parents and people speaking about Will looking zesty…is so immature. We always want to make someone homosexual. I think the Smith’s are doing a wonderful job with Willow. She seems like she listens to her parents and how much they have influenced her to be comfortable in her skin. Yes, I like this girl because she is Jada and Will’s daughter, but I like her more because she is a little girl going after her dreams.

  12. klafrance

that was so sweet… this is what it must have been like to watch the jacksonson tv! bahahah… cuz I grew up with bow wow

  13. Mrs. Sk8board P (ak & bk stan)

That was really nice of them to present her with the plaque.

  14. GLORIA

She is so sweat…I’m happy for her. I hope that Will and Jada protect her through all that’s about to come her way at such a young age. Congrats to Willow!!

  15. GLORIA

Oops…I meant she is so SWEET!!!lol.

  16. FallBackHaters

So cute. And those of you that are hating on Willow- get a life! She’s 9 years old.

  17. lady

She is a cutie pie. Damn i see people hating on grown ass people. But a kid. Get a life.

  18. JstBReal

Why do people get upset for another person speaking their opinion? Its not hating if someone isn’t kissing up to this kid or her family. I’m not a fan of Willow, but its cool kids can have a role model their age that’s not puttng out a negative image. As for Will looking “zesty”, that doesn’t take away from the man’s talent in my opinion.

  19. Bonny.Solito

Just beautiful. It’s so unfortunate that there are actually people talkin down a 9 year old girl who’s done nothin wrong. Anyway one of coolest videos I’ve seen all year. My favorite part is “mmm yeah I go harrd” nothing but too cute. U gotta love the smith family all of them

  20. Tiff.Will. [Tiffany.Williams]

No one is hating on a 9 year old. I am just not fond of her. Is that a crime? And she resembles Will Smith’s fish off Shark Tales, that annoys me. :)

  21. Afroartmami

Aww her was crying!?!?!?! She is just too sweet and adorable. I understand why her parents are so proud, I’m proud of her too. I love confident yet humble kids…her expression when they gave her the plaque was priceless!

  22. Tysheen

I don’t understand why anyone wants to hate on a 9 year old or hate on anyone that’s making more money than them is beyond me. She’s a cute kid with a nice personality and a great future. Will and Jada is doing a great job with their kids, their raising there kids better than most parents.

  23. truthfullyspeaking

This hatin word is ridiculous! I swear, y’all take things out of context! Why can’t people speak “negatively” about a 9 year old? Stop trying to make it something it isn’t and how do you know everyone on here who comments negatively on Willow is grown? There’s teens and pre teens who visit and comment on blogs as well. If we can’t say anything bad about a child star, then OBVIOUSLY SHE SHOULDN’T BE IN THIS BUSINESS!

I don’t dislike the girl, but I find it odd and disturbing that such a little, tiny, itty, bitty girl is dressing so outrageous with a crazy hair do and has a record deal. She’s very pretty and seems nice, but I don’t agree with putting her in the spotlight. Just look at these comments. No one can say anything bad about her music, clothes, voice, and rappers like Nicki can’t say explicit lyrics on her songs. The music biz is an adult industry and why would you allow a little kid to be apart of it? Y’all say she’s age appropriate but acting grown and sassy in a video is being a bit grown and everyone knows child stars grow up to be skanks and nasty. Look at Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and the rest of the Disney stars. Plus she looks up to Rihanna’s sex crazed a**. I wonder how what y’all gonna say when she wants to “feel sexy” and like a “real women” like Rihanna and Ciara and be sexual in videos when she’s 16/17.

  24. sexxxi

Yep people are hating but why is okay to hate on adults but not a child? She’s famous, she’s rich, and in the public eye…perfect target to hate on. It still looks bad no matter what age. What’s the difference whether they are 9 or 29? If you don’t approve of someone hating on a 9 year old why approve of hating on an adult? Hating is hating.

Anyways I still love the Smith family always have.

  25. Surprise

People can be so mean. Geez. Anyway that was too cute. Those tears we’re sincere, that’s so humble. Great job Willow, great job Will and Jada.

  26. Nikita W.

While the comments may not be hating, the way the comments read are hateful. Yes, Willow is nine years old, but she is still a child. Watch what you say about her because nobody is perfect. I’m surprised that no one hasn’t said anything about her birthday being on Halloween. I’m sure someone is going to call her the devil soon. It’s ridiculous. Either way, Willow, I love your song & video. Keep doing you. As for the Smith’s, I love you too. Jada, I am waiting for Hawthorne season 3!

  27. Tabitha

Willow’s song and video are cute; however, after watching 106 & Park, I noted that she’s a conceited little girl.

  28. Sami

I think that kid is too grown..just looking at the pic i think this girl should be at home preparing for school not visiting 106 park.

  29. The Devil

Will & Jada are sacrificing both their children. Will’s 1st wife wasn’t with that B.S! Trey will live a normal life.

  30. Grace

Aww, she cried :( … it’s OK Willow!

As uber-confident as the child seems, emotionally she is still only 9 years old. I hope her parents can protect her from the negative attention that will come with the positive. Sad thing is that as long as she has access to the internet, they can’t shield her as much as they would like.

  31. Soy Stew

Honestly speaking if @Luvbug, @truthfullyspeaking, etc had children with talent they would be on 106 and Park right now. Does anyone but me find it completely hilarious when people post she is too young for the industry, when there are segments of the industry that are solely there for the purpose of entertaining young people. If there was not young talent would there be a Disney Channel or would you like R Kelly on a network for children promoting peeing.

With our young Black girls hating their skin, hair, etc, this song serves as a empowering voice, lets embrace it because some coon singing,
‘suck my balls” will be on in about 15 minutes. The people who dislike Willow children know every word to Toot it & Boot It. LOL

As for people calling her ugly, are you serious? If you believe it to be true, who cares why are we so obsessed with the way people look?.

  32. Soy Stew

@Tabitha she is conceited because she carries herself with pride and wait….. actually loves herself. I love how you can conclude someone is conceited based on a 10 minute interview about HER song. Laughable

  33. Danger

Some of you need to lay off the hate word, not everyone is going to kiss ass!!!! No one is calling the little girl names, people are right to speak minds about her being too grown and it seems like her parents are forcing her upon us.

  34. Danger

Everyone wants to scream she is so talented but overlooks the fact that she is not properly educated, and she has shown us that several times already. I thought the Smith family was about education over show business, if she can get in a studio and learn lyrics and dance moves and singing about haters than I expect her to know her school lesson.

  35. Jazzy

Jealousy and envy brings out the ugly in people. So sad that the negative people do not wish people well, especially someone being a child.

  36. DesTiny

Ok I get that you can say your own opinions on here because it is a blog, BUT COME ON PEOPLE!! The girl is 9..she is doing way better than the 9 and 10 year old stealing cars and being disrespectful. I am proud of her regardless of who her parents are. That is our problem, we keep tearing each other apart. She is 9 and working!! How many of you are sitting on your ass at home, typing on blogs..LOL

  37. Lady H-Town

I have to say my 11 yr old loves this song as well as I. She’s 9 this may be a phase if so then so be it. As a parent I support her wanting to dabble in this and that until she finds her niche. I would also hope that Jada and Will instill in her that education is at the forefront of everything. I let my daughter express herself to a point and when I feel she’s getting out of hand I put her back into her place. We should encourage our children to be creative and be happy about themselves. With bullying and everything else negative going on kids should be able to have an outlet to express themselves. Someone made the comment about all disney stars becoming nasty skanks I have to disagee, Raven Symonne (I think i butchered her last name) turned out pretty good and that’s b/c her mom kept her grounded.

  38. Kyla

Pretty sad that you grown people are still throwing around the “hate/hating” word.
Seems like y’all still have some growing up to do.
If you’re over the age of 14/15 still using the word .. there’s something wrong with you.
You guys are acting like you’re positive about everythingg and everyone.
Geez, get over the fact that people are going to post negative comments.

    Aww @ Willow crying, she’s a cutie.

  39. CHI-SHEEK

    @ SOY STEW

I AGREE WITH YOU 100 PECENT. IT’S OBVIOUS SHE’S BEEN TAUGHT TO HAVE PRIDE AND CONFIDENCE IN HERSELF. IF ONLY MORE PARENTS WOULD INSTILL THAT IN THEIR CHILDREN THEY WOULD BE MORE MOTIVATED TO MAKE THEIR DREAMS COME TRUE. UNFORTUNATELY ANNOYING PEOPLE LIKE TABATHA MISTAKE THAT CONFIDENCE AS BEING “A CONCEITED LITTLE GIRL” SMH

  40. CHI-SHEEK

@ SOME OF THE HATERS ABOVE

THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HATIN AND HAVING AN OPINON…..AND YES BECAUSE SHE IS A 9 YEAR OLD SHE SHOULD BE TREATED DIFFERENTLY WHY…..BECAUSE SHE’S A 9 YEAR OLD LOL….IN LIFE DON’T WE ALL TALK OR DO THINGS DIFFERENTLY IN THE PRESENCE OF A CHILD WHY……BECAUSE IT’S CALLED RESPECT.

  41. Stephie M

I think it is so funny when people say her parents are forcing this on her….Her parents are not regular people making 30K a year. They don’t need her to make it, they are straight without her or Jaden making any kind of money. If you don’t like what you see, change the channel.

And Danger how did you come to the conclusion that she is uneducated? Is it because she stumbled on a word or two. Well educated adults when speaking in front of a crowd will stumble from time to time, so go head with all that foolishness! Please!

  42. CHI-SHEEK

    @ KYLA

TELL THAT TO ALL THE RAPPERS/SINGERS/CELEBRITIES THAT STILL USE THE WORD HATE OR HATIN…….I GUESS THEY HAVE SOME GROWING UP TO DO TOO?? SMH

  43. CHI-SHEEK

    @ STEPHIE M

    I AGREE!!
IT’S CRAZY HOW QUICK PEOPLE ARE TO JUDGE OR FIND SOMETHING WRONG BASED ON PRATICALLY NOTHING LOL……I SWEAR PEOPLE MAN SMH

  44. Moi

I’m not hatin or anything, but!

I think this babygirl is gonna grow up very fast. The whole image thing for me is just to much on a 9 year old. Yes she is very cute, but I so hope This won’t turn out bad in the future. Offcourse as parents you need to support your children in their dreams, but This industry is just one Dirty industry.

  45. kpriss

Not hatin peeps but it’s me or she wasn’t able to pronounce properly “CONGRATULATES”…????

  46. ya ya H

i know this is about willow but I got to say in the first pic WILL SMITH looks hella sexy

  47. FallBackHaters

There IS a difference between someone hating and stating their opinion, but many on here HATE. It is what it is.

  48. FallBackHaters

BTW, I just peeped CL TM mark. Y’all got your trademark, congrats!!

  49. Danger

    comments arent posting?

  50. Danger

    @37

The conclusion came from previous interviews that stated she is having a hard time with her times tables or doesnt listen to her tutor… Also judging by the way she did stumble. I bet she can perform and sing her little song in front of the world without stumbling, the the same should be done in regards to her school work. If you allow your child to work in a studio for hours and the child picks up the routine, then that same amount of time should be spent on school lessons until she is able to pick it up. If a childs homework isnt done or they are not picking up the lessons properly then she should be allowed to do extra activities. Due to the family being rich and so successful should be even more reason to make her wait until her ducks are in a row… but they dont care, they think its cute with the rest of you.

  51. Tonya

FINALLY SOMETHING THAT LITTLE GIRLS AND BOYS HER AGE CAN AND SHOULD ADAPT TOO AGAIN WITH THE RELEASE OF HER SONG AND VIDEO. CHILDREN NEED TO BE CHILDREN AGAIN AND NOT GROWN ASSES. WILLOW HOPEFULLY WILL BE A CHILD S MUSE.

  52. Sami

Personally i think she acts and dresses like a 17 year old going on early adult-hood.

I would never have guessed she’s just 9. The hairstyle and the clothes add to that. I think i saw a bit of red-highlights in the 1st pic. How many 9 year olds have that?

I dont think this will end well but good luck to her and her fam.

  53. RORO

willow dress with fun and excitement of a child she is a modern punky brewster I love her song and the fact that she was so honor. Go head sweetheart I love ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  54. wtf

It’s mostly the same folks that stan for rihanna that are bashing this lil girl.
Let her live! She’s only 9 for crying out loud. I agree, not everyone has to like her but some of these comments are way too extreme for such a lil kid. Majority of the CL bloggers are obviously naturally bitter and spiteful individuals. or are just uncomfortable with the fact that Willow might just give their favourite artists a run for their money.
I think it’s too cute how she cried after accepting her plaque. So sweet

  55. wtf

    @DANGER
SHE IS 9 YEARS OLD. DAMN. GOT ME TYPING IN CAPS AND SH*T
What makes you think she’s stopped learning? Obivously she’s falling behind. A 9 year old cannot possibly cope with school and being in the spotlight at the same time. One will always overshadow the other.
Go for it Willow, education is always going to be available for you whenever you’re through with music. Geesh.

And i know for a fact you’re not talking slick about her when rihanna (yes i know for a fact you’re her stan) didn’t finish school either. girl please *rolls eyes*

  56. aiych

I cringe. I did dumb things as a child (that seemed logical at the time haha) and am glad I have parents who didn’t let me do something that would turn my life into a clusterf**k.

However, putting your child out there in front of the world before she is able to know what is best for her…it’s like her parents are feeding her to the wolves and child celebrities tend to end up with clusterf*cked lives.

Just because you are able to do something doesn’t mean you should. Just because you can provide your child with what he or she wants doesn’t mean you should indulge them.

As for her song…it assaults my eardrums but so does most music and I’m not even old yet, barely of drinking age hahaha. whatever, y’all like her and it’s just my opinion. I call it like I see it.

  57. NOTE:

Will looks disturbed….I think he wants his 9 year old to slow down a bit, Jada seems like the pusher but I really hate to assume since I don’t know them at all…but its good that they went with her.

Willow is adorable but she needs to stay in school, she had trouble reading that plaque.

I really like this family, I hope they continue to keep God first and put things in perspective…

Did I mention will looks disturbed…perhaps he’s tired.

  58. Tiff.Will. [Tiffany.Williams]

There comes a time in life when parents allow their children to make their own decisions, but not when they are 9 years old! I don’t care what you guys want to call it. Please point out a good parent that allows their child to make life changing decisions by themselves at 9. I’ll wait. She is still a child. She is going to grow up and realize some of the choices she made are actually quite humiliating. I remember wanting to do things at 9 that my parents stopped me from doing and now I can not thank them enough. What seems plausible now for her, will NOT, and I garuntee will NOT, remain that way even in the next few years when she begins maturing. Child stars more times than not end up leading rediculous lifestyles and I do not think it is healthy for her to be doing what she’s doing, right now. The fact that her parents are celebrities is enough pressure and now this? Really? And you can clearly see that she is conceited, ALREADY! I do not approve. Label me a “hater” all you want, but I know that as a parent, exposing your child to scenarios like this will not benefit any part of their lives.

Even Beyonce said she would never recommend her child to enter the entertainment world EVER, because of what she experiences. I’m moreso worried for her than I am “hating”, actually. But Congrats to her and I wish her the best of luck. God knows she’ll need it.

  59. sexxxi

People just calm the hell down, are you really that concerned with her or her future? You can’t be because you find it funny when people have public meltdowns and go through personal issues while being in the industry. I just feel people are overreacting especially since you are not going to hold this same attitude towards her when she is grown because I have yet to see anyone act like they care about the grown people featured on this site and they were all children once in their lives.

Just because she’s a child in the industry does not mean she is going to turn into a Britney or Lindsay. Just look at Raven Symone, Tia and Tamera Mowry, Kyla Pratt Tatyiana Ali and these are BLACK women that Willow needs to take notes from.
