Oscar winning actress Halle Berry will be starring in Frankie & Alice, an upcoming film about a young woman who struggles with a personality disorder. Throughout the film, Berry’s character, Alice has trouble containing her racist alter-ego, Frankie, who comes out during drama filled moments. Among those in the cast are Phylicia Rashad and Grey’s Anatomy’s, Chandra Wilson. The film was directed by Geoffrey Sax. Check out the full-length trailer above.
Frankie & Alice is set to hit select theaters in New York City and Los Angeles on December 17th, but will premiere world wide on February 4, 2011.

UMM…SHE DOESN’T SUBMIT IT…The Academy Award (informally known as the Oscar) is an accolade by the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS)[1] to recognize excellence of professionals in the film industry, including directors, actors, and writers.
Semantics blahh many studios and actors campaign for their movies to be nominated by voting members of the academy (the whole for their consideration bit that happens) . One such example is Justin Timberlake (who i personally don’t think deserves it) going hard to get a best supporting actor nom for the social network.
AMNJORDAN23 the whole Academy definition was pointless. And the actors are submitted, in that the producers and studios of the films the actors are in campaign the entire season for the nominations and actual award. Case in point this trailer, all the quotes from critics were placed in that ad for the Academies consideration. Halle’s chances lie on the Critics Choice Awards,Independent Spirit Awards, The Golden Globes & The Screen Actors Guild Awards. If she gets either or all of those nominations she has a strong chance come Oscar nods. She wasn’t nominated for a Independent Spirit Award today but that one doesn’t really matter. But If she’s not nominated at the Critics Choice Awards her chance are close to none.
I doubt very seriously Justin will get a nod for Social Network. No one has been talking about his performance in that film that would garner him any real buzz. If anyone from Social Newtwork were to get a nod I think Jesse Eisenberg has the best chance. It should be a good season this year.

“EPIC” IS SO OVERUSED. THIS FILM SEEMS INTERESTING AND IM EXCITED TO SEE IT BUT ASIDE FROM DOROTHY DANDRIDGE, HALLE BERRY HAS YET TO FLEX ANY REAL ACTING MUSCLE. EVEN HER OSCAR WIN GOT THE SIDE-EYE FEVER FROM MANY PEOPLE. SHE’S PRETTY AND ITS GONE A LONG WAY. I HOPE THIS MOVIE IS EXCELLENT AND HER ACTING IS MORE THAN MARGINAL.

I click on the video link and am 20 seconds into the video and you got some ad come up.Then i gotta close the ad and then rewatch the video. This is nonsense. But, I cant support this split personality crap and they said it was based on a true story. I mean does GOD really put two different personalities in a persons head? Its like everyone is going to have imaginary friends soon. Hey, this is so and so you cant see him/her but shes there. See? WTF! I give up! Oh, and too top it off the second personality in the movie is a white chick! I mean I saw the time and era in the trailer but, its always a white chick with yellow hair and blue eyes that we black woman always want to be, right? LOL!

This looks like a Lifetime TV movie that is only going to theaters because it has Halle Berry in it. It also looks low budget with only one hollywood star.

I don’t know about this one, but I’m sure a lot of people will see it. This movie was done a few years back, don’t know why it took so long to release.
