Check out singer Keri Hilson‘s new video for her second single, “Pretty Girl Rock” from her upcoming album, No Boys Allowed. In the video, Hilson pays homage to past and present day pretty girls/women of the music and entertainment industries (Janet Jackson, Donna Summer, TLC and more). The video was directed by Joseph Kahn.

I can’t stand Keri because she’s so damn arrogant and untalented but I loved this concept! The director did a really good job. Keri had me LMMAO when she tried dancing. OMG that girl has no soul or rhythm whatsoever! Especially when she was trying to do the Janet. Keri is very ugly and awkward looking. She’s only seen has “pretty” because of her green eyes, light skin, and blonde hair. I find it funny how she paid homage to the women from decades ago when her style and music is obviously Rihanna, Beyonce, Ciara, and now even Lady Gaga. This song has a cute beat but the lyrics are so childish and bubblegum. I know how it feels to have many ugly and fat pathetic women hate on you, but really Keri?
lmao at people saying Beyonce is missing. Beyonce is just Brandy of the 2000′s. Only Brandy STILL has more sales (solo not counting Destiny ‘s Child). She’s very talented but she doesn’t deserve the tribute TLC, Josephine Baker, and Janet Jackson got. She’s paved no ways. She’s made it harder on these other 2000 chicks

I have never been a fan of hers but this is the first video she made that I like. Lots of beautiful costumes,hair and makeup. I just want to be entertained, and she did that.

I don’t think she should have done a part for Beyonce because honestly Beyonce isn’t that big of a LEGEND to have a spot. All of the women in the video broke barriers like Josephine Baker and Dorthy Dandridge (the first two she portrayed). I DO think she should have done a part for Mariah Carey, who paved the way for her AND Beyonce as the greatest selling female vocalist of all time. Stans be mad if you want to but you know that Beyonce cites Mariah as one of her inspirations. Just saying.
