GTFOH I HATE F’N HOLLYWOOD AZZ RAPPERS SOMETIMES…UGH

    • XEDOS

stop the ignorance with your one track mine ass. some of you niggas need to get a passport and go see the world. the world is bigger than the hood

    • British Anon

You say this as if Jay Z and Kanye havent recorded with the likes of Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Teyana Taylor and Nicki Minaj!? arent they all black???

Laroux is a good artist which is why shes on the track.

Have no idea how your comment was relevant…But I suppose HATERS gotta HATE!

    • THESE ARE BOTH BUSINESS MEN AS WELL AND IF THEY WUNNA REACH A LARGER AUDIENCE TO MAKE MORE $$$$$$ THEN I CAN DIG IT! THESE ARTIST ARE NOT GONNA DO MIXTAPES N CATER TO THE “HOOD” FOREVER…PEOPLE R TYRNA MAKE $$$ OUT HERE…SO THAT IS WHY THEY DO “SHIT” LIKE THIS…..

    • GAGIRL87

I agree with you hun I don’t think your being a racist’s your calling it like you see it. Of course the world is bigger than the hood and we all know Jay Z is a opportunist which is fine, no hate just giving my opinion if you don’t agree that’s fine please stop with all the childish replys…. :)

    • Allen_J

Haha whatever man if this song had featured a black girl and the title is that’s my bitch it would’ve been an uproar for that. Damned if he does damned if he doesn’t

  2. Elle

this is a dope record. la roux is the shit.

s’not about putting a white chick on a record. you can still be down witcha people and bump some KOL, Arcade Fire or La Roux and then hit some J. Cole, Miguel or Jazmin on on the next tune in itunes. I think this is progressive but still representative of part of Black culture.

    elevate. f’real.

  3. LULU

Love La Roux, Elly is eating this hook.

  4. ellaBRINX

    This is disastrous.

Kanye’s creativity is largely nonexistent. He’s growing backwards. The title alone is grounds for me to not listen, due to the degradation attached to that ignorant word, but I gave it a try.

I applaud the different vibe and uniqueness of sound, but as for lyrical content and everything else … disappointing.

These two may be rap royalty in terms of popularity, but there has to be something … someone out there better than this. The sole purpose of music is not to sound good – as a form of art, it’s very design is to create and evoke an atmosphere of change, for the better. Not the worse.

There is extremely something wrong with this generation if THIS is the type of music we choose to listen and agree with.

Women: You really want to be referred to as a female dog?
Men: Do you really have the audacity to CHANT such a thing?

      Know better. Do better.

  5. In Love With LeToya Luckett

GARBAGE. If someone called Jay’s woman or Kanye’s mom a bitch, how would they like that?

  6. Imagine

Good to see some intelligent posters on this thread. With songs like this no wonder why these teens have little to no respect for adults or themselves for that matter. Didn’t bother listening as soon as I saw the title “That’s My Bitch” no different if KKK inspired artist made a song call hang my n.igg.er” if has a good beat people would still feed into it like they feed into this garbage. I’ve listen to la roux before and I think she is ok, kanyer and jayz not so much. Not a fan of either of them, or any of todays’ “music” for that matter. I’ll stick to the oldies but goodies; A Tribe Call Quest anyone?

  7. Tashana

Bitch.? Oh really now.? SMH. SN: I think I hear Charlie Wilson’s voice in this track.!

  8. Luely

Referring to your wife as a bitch, wow. Jay Z it’s time to grow the fuck up. Ain’t that nigga pushin 50? Beyonce ain’t no better, i’m sure she’s cool with it cause she’s nothing but a glorified chickenhead.

  9. BLAH BLAH BLAH TO ALL THE HATERS…………STOP TAKIN THINGS SO LITERAL….ITS A SONG…A.K.A ENTERTAINMENT

BUT ON ANOTHER NOTE THESE ARE 3 GOOD ARTIST I AM FAMILIAR WIT LAROUX’S MUSIC AND I LOVE HER! AND I LOVE KANYE AS WELL SOOOOO I LOVE THIS SONG!

    • ellaBRINX

No. It’s not just entertainment. This is where many people are so sadly mistaken. Music is POWERFUL. It gives wings to the mind and fight to the imagination. It shapes, reflects, and transforms the culture. It’s affecting our YOUTH. Which afects our FUTURE. We need to wake up and FIGHT for our music.

  10. Ashley

Where were all these people that’s so offended by this track at when Biggie had a song called “Me and my Bitch” back in the 90s? Or when Lil Kim was calling herself the Queen Bitch in every verse she spit? How about when Busta said “I love my bitch” back in 06 and had Kelis responding I loved her nigga! Don’t act brand new now!
And some women like Beyonce on Ego like to refer to themselves as “that bitch” or a “bad bitch” like Trina does. Why is it war 3 when a man says it, but when a woman says it, “It’s gon’ girl.” That’s like black folks who say “what up my nigga” but get mad when white folks use it?! Like what the heck? It makes no sense.

    • ellaBRINX

You speak as if there was absolutely no resistance to those songs whatsoever. Which is absolutely false.

Fancy blogs such as this one were not as popular back then, so it would have probably been harder for you to notice the resistance, but that does not mean it didn’t existence.

No matter who says it, male or female, it’s ignorant, degrading, destructive, and wrong.

And myself, along with countless others, as well as the people who don’t even SUPPORT hip-hop as evident by the dismal album sales, disapprove.

    • Aaron-Von

      I totally agree w/ Ashley…
But to add my own opinion, their just words…
Come on now, if you dont idenitify yourself as a bitch or a nigga, then you shouldn’t get mad. Its up to the indivisual to associate themselves w/ those words…
And as for “dismal” album sales, iguess you’ve never heard of the term “downloading”. lol :P

  11. Natasha

If Beyonce have any class at all, she’ll tell him never to refer to her as that word. Especially since she claims to be one of God’s children. God did not creat harlots. I don’t know why some women even called themselves that word. Thats the problem, too many women out there don’t know any better, so they thinks its okay.

  12. Ralph Lauren

I dont give a damn who they calling BITCH…

    THIS SONG IS HORRIBLE!!!

  13. love Jay’s verse.. however “that’s my BITCH”?? they could’ve come up w/ something else

  14. Add me on Twitter @taitibaby

    I like This song!

  15. hollywood!!!

nice beat… but really someone point to me a say’s that’s my bitch… I’ll bust their head til the white meat

  16. hollywood!!!

on the other and… Lil Jon song was the worse and still a hit when played..skeet skeet skeet…smh.. somethings just not worth the ‘arguement’… people like what they like..

  17. Candy

I luv that Charlie Wilson is singing at the end of this track also so Kanye is still combining the genres in a great way! Uncle Charlie is a great vocalist after all these yrs

  18. ellaBRINX

What 50-year-old still dresses and acts like he’s 18? Where is the maturity in the music?

  19. JoEllen

Yo this song is hot! Love the beat.

  20. SayItLoudHD

    THIS IS PURE BULLSH!T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  21. SayItLoudHD

tHIS IS WHAT KIDS R GON BE RAPPING ALONG TO?

THIS SONG NEEDS TO BE BANNED.

I COULD NEVER SUPPORT THESE PEOPLE.

  22. SayItLoudHD

KANYE WEST IS A MADMAN AND HE NEEDS TO BE PUT IN AN ASYLUM!!!!

  23. cam

She’s a f**king joke and she can’t sing for shit

  24. I think this is a hot track. Big up to Q tip who produce it.

  25. I personally liked it.

Why are people still griping over music like it isn’t up to parents to educate their children???? Rappers don’t make music for children and if children are listening to it, then that’s their parents faults, not the artists…and I’m quite sure Jay ain’t walking nowhere with Bey talking about “that’s my bitch”. People so damn sensitive! Music has this power because ya’ll are giving it that much life. If you wanna learn, go read a book…don’t be rocking to Kanye and Jay. Seriously. I’m starting to think a lot of ya’ll commentors just sit around saying what negativity can I spread today?

    • ellaBRINX

Because the truth of the matter is that parents aren’t the sole educators of their children. The truth of the matter is that over 50% of children live in single-parent households and are largely taught by their peers. The truth of the matter is that rappers are not excused from being examples of what is socially acceptable, not only for children, but for adults as well.

    • ellaBRINX

And your last statement, “… what negativity an I spread today” would be laughable if it weren’t so sad. Did you even LISTEN to the words in the song you just said you liked? Who is really spreading the negativity?

      Wake up, people.

  26. BOTTOMLINE

I love this joint, kept playing it over and over last night! If found it comical and a little disappointing that Jay referenced Bey as “his bitch”. But it was kinda clever and fly how he went about it..LOL!!!

I get all the social commentary here, and I agree with it.

Sad part is it will be b*****s moving to this joint the most!

“Watch The Throne” sounds like it’s gonna be a “Monster”.

  27. Toot

    Love the Track!! Good Music…..

  28. Lucky Bluciano

this shit was dope off the bat… i heard the beat and knew it right way… #legit
    i love new (good) music
and i love ye and jay- dynamic duo

  29. Sensible

I love that BLACK PEOPLE are defending artists singing, “THAT’S MY BITCH.” Thank you, and who says the white man is our problem?

  30. Zack

Ugh, not this lesbian b!tch again. No-one likes her in the UK, she is just damn rude, running her mouth to everyone and calling them shit, and this is what she ran off to do?

Jay and K-West should be so ashamed, one for the song title, and two for hiring this dick-haired bitch to sing the hook. SMH

  31. Craig

Ya’ll acting like you wasn’t in the club last weekend goin “All that ass, in them jeans….”

  32. Hardy Har

Look at all these hypocrites getting on Kanye and Jay Z for saying “BITCH”. Half of you guys probably dance to Soulja Boy songs, Weezy, Roscoe Dash, and gay ass Wacka Flocka calling you a bitch in the club last night. Bitch, paid. Maybe if todays black women would stop referring to themselves as “BAD BITCHES” or “BARBIE BITCH” and shit like that, there wouldn’t be no problem. Look at yallselves befor you start pickin apart Kanye. Thanks, BITCH. Btw this is a girl. ;)

    • ellaBRINX

Error. You are not a prophet, nor a mind-reader. & Why are you so hostile? One of the many effects of ignorant songs such as this.

I disapprove of women calling themselves that hideous word as well. I disapprove of the use of the word altogether. And Soulja Boy who? Isn’t Wocka Flocka one of the muppets?

      Know better. Do better.

  33. PrettyBoy_Rome

First off, I LOVE LaRoux, I was soooo excited to see that Ye and Jay did a collab with her. I agree that they could’ve came up with a non-vulgar title for the song but hey, it is what it is. Overall, I think that people are being overly sensitive. If you are going to condemn Kanye and Jay, let’s not forget the FEMALES, Beyonce, Britney Spears, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj (and the list goes on and on) of females who regularly refer to themselves as “Bad Bitches”. It is a slang part of our culture/generation that does not, in the context that it is being used in, mean female dog or anything derogatory. If you’re a “Bad Bitch” then you are the SHIT!!! LOL

And as far as the kids go and parents being upset at Jay and Kanye for not being role models, you matters well just NOT have your kids listen to the radio or watch TV these days then. I mean would you rather your children be singing “Thats my Bitch” or Rihanna’s, “Come on rude boy boy is you BIG enough”? Being a parent in today’s society, you just have to face the way times are now and teach your kids morals so that they can know right from wrong cause trust me, even if Kanye never came out with this song, your kids would have still heard the word “Bitch” in their everyday lives way more than a few times.

  34. rapper + Crossover = Jay-z and Kanye
In any country their music is classified as hip-hop, I think that is a good thing, countries over seas, Ye and jay-z, thats all they probably listen to and as a artist trying to spread a universal message, thats an accomplishment, your on top! That

  35. shawn

just for the record i don’t walk around and call my wife a bitch, IT IS JUST A SONG.

  36. shawn

and if ya’ll really got an issue ya’ll need to go at ye because, it is his song.

  37. QW

First of all, I cant get over Jay-Z in that picture, get em cover boy! I’m not feeling that shot AT ALL but thats just my opinion. And ELLABRINX I feel the same way, I’ve left foolish music alone a while ago now and I’m not ever turning back. As I speak I’m listening to Phyllis Hyman ( You Know how to love Me) and it is giving me the positive energy and love that real music should give. So sad what is going on in this industry today…

  38. Darryl

Thats my bitch? Really? hip hop music, when will you grow up?

  39. Kazona

it is Hip Hop but sounds more like a mix tape joint..it doesn’t make me want to buy the album..

  40. JUDAH

That man Jay-Z said, “Get your own dog, ya heard!”…..wow lol & smh. I don’t know why people always argue about who does songs with who and why. The elite “artists” are told who to do songs with and what the song will be about. The only thing left to them is the lyrics, and maybe not even that.

  41. Smith

I don’t understand why they feel its alright to refer to females as bitches…I can’t even respect them as artist , what meaning does this song have besides degrading females..and people say “it’s just a record” or “it’s a form of expression, not real life” …well most of the time alot things people say, they really mean..Out of the mouth speaks the abundance of the heart..

  42. Shell

I DON’T FUCKING CARE!!! THAT SHIT IS OFF THE CHAIN! DATZ GOIN TO BLOW THE TOP OFF DA CLUB!

  43. Ms. Ro

C’mon people….enuf with the nick-pickin and analizing! If you are a true fan of Hip-Hop and a straight up music lover, than the first thing you are listening for is…..THE BEATZ!!
I know that is what sells me first. On an individual basis, you can interpret the lyrics as you please/ If you are confident as a woman, who you are and what you are…than it really doesn’t matter what the title of the track is, now does it?

    • ellaBRINX

Actually, it would be the opposite. If I am confident in who I am as a woman, then music like this SHOULD bother me. By contrast, it would seem logical that those who DON’T know who they are would blindly follow the inklings of this horrid song.

  44. Nate

I am so sad at the statement this song makes.

Kanye and jay z are both punks for putting out a song like this that would seek to further denegrade females who are already discriminated against.

I don’t care how clever you want to be. It’s not their right as men to try and desensitize people to the word’s usage.

I’m disappointed in them both for their lack of understanding about what it means to have great influence and use it wisely.

Grow up. And Beyonce should speak up and repudiate them both.

  45. keelah the Beelah

    LOVE IT!!

  46. Aldo Khan

Yea I remember this was going to be on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy….So I see it’s going to be on Watch the Throne.

  47. Anon

LOVE the love he and Beyonce share!!!

  48. lspiderl

cant believe laroux would lower herself by working with a no talent HACK like kanye

i mean jay z sure but kanye? that man needs to crawl into a hole and disapear already he never had talent and never will he simply climbed up on the backs of others or should i say on the TRACKS of others considering 90% of his stuff is stolen or”sampled” although its hardly sampling when u play almost the whole damn song
