WHy is it that when people tell the truth and it’s not ALL positive it’s considered hating??? EVERYTHING can not be GREAT! including this CD. That doesn’t mean Kandi isn’t a good person or even a great writer! It just means this album in particular isn’t everyone’s favorite. Simple as that! THAT’S IT,THAT’S ALL! lol GEESH some of you complicate EVERYTHING! HAVE A GREAT DAY GUYS!!
Damn this should have been Fantasia’s next album. I just can’t get with Kandi’s voice

Kandi sounds a damn mess….Why are so many ppl saying she has nice vocals. She sounds nasal and as if she straining on every song.

I have mixed feelings on her voice. At times, I think she’s good and other times, I think “no, not really.” That said, I really like her personality and her style. Musically, the tracks are good. I’m supporting her.
i love kandi but i dont like the album!! still a fan!!
The songs are nice and would sound great for another artist but not for Kandi….her voice just sounds like she is straining to hit the notes. She did well in Xscape but as a solo artist she can’t carry an entire song alone. I wish her all the best though because she has been in the industry for a while and she manages to stay somewhat relevant.
I personally love the album in its entirty, the issue is that most of the individuals writing the comments on here, are young, and are into the pop music, and are not into Real R&B. This album is a solid good R&B piece, now a days people classify Rihanna and Beyonce as R&B artist, in which they are pop, no shade, just stating facts. Beyonce & Rihanna have both crossed over well to Pop. Love ya Kandi keep grinding, cause your real fans are here!!!
I like the last 2 songs and I thought “Rileys interlude” was cute. Not sure if I would go out and buy it though.

Really, are y’all serious about that Superwoman song because TINY is on it?! She sounds like she a 15 little boy who hasn’t hit puberty yet/Justin Bieber watch out if TINY comes out with an album. By no means am I saying “Whoa, Kandi you got that all together!” Although she’s nasally, I think she a good beat rider and lyrics flow well; her songs by herself are good and solid. I’ll buy

This album is better than anything I’ve heard all year but its definitely for a mature audience.
Pulling for Kandi but wish she would have had the budget to let Ne-yo co-write the entire album. If the entire album had the vibe Me & You had, it would be a banger….Fly Above is a really good one too but everything else, i just can’t deal with the way she writes lyrics…not hating at all…the lyrics are just not complex enough for me…she seems like she works at her best with a great team. Kandi Much Love To You & Wish You the Best but Do Over Please!
This sounds like a collection of songs that Kandi should have given to other people. Her voice is so nasal and not enjoyable. Kandi, girl get your $ behind the scenes!! Producers make more than artists consistently anyway and don’t have to deal with half of the drama.
It doesnt make her any less talented but some people cant. The random hi notes like on ‘Fly Above’ dont make me think of any vocal prowess but someone trying to be Mariah Carey ‘Fly Like A Bird’
This cd is meh…very lack luster. I don’t like Kandi’s voice at all. Tiny’s singing was the best part of this whole album.

I like this. No age gap is too wide if you both feel so right.We don’t care about the social “norm” but chemistry. Many couples with age gap work out fine and get alone splendidly. We celebrate the “a_ge _g_a_p love.c“om” and May-December romance. We have achieved tremendous success bringing couples together.

i like the album…why? well because its R&B….Youtube Phyllis Hyman,Miki Howard, Stacy Lattisaw, Angela Winbush,Tammi Terrell, need i go da fuck on???? i aint think so…If ya dont know half of those women, you wont appreciate this album….I cant believe Kandi was bold enough to do an R&B/Soul record…I guess if you want the bubble gum or “hood” songs…Get the “Fly Above EP”. Now 2 KandiKoated…I’ve been listenin 2 Me & U for the past 2weeks all day everyday,So iwas gettin this CD n e ways… i like #’s 1,2,3,4 just played 3 again will play 4again..I like all of it except 11&5…i can listen to ‘em but sum off wit da beat NOT kandi. i been listen to da album since this been posted days ago!!! <3 R&B

Its ok….I am not feeling all of the songs…but those that i do like are: leaving you and fly above…good meaning to them both.
Unlike everybody that don’t like the songs! I like 8 out of the 15 songs which is worth buying
I think this is nothing compared to the free album LATOCHA just released you can download it on singersroom.com its a real XSCAPE album I dont what the heck KANDI is doing> there are two songs where LATOCHA and TAMIKA sing on I dont know what happened but you can tell who the talent was in the group
I give her credit for at least sounding her age. To many of these old chicks try and sound 20 (see Mariah and Janet). The album is forgettable overall…whatever.

Kandi can NOT sing, plan and simple, I like her on Real Housewives of Atlanta though. I tried to listen but her voice is so nerve racking. I think she needs to stick to writing and producing for other artists. I’m just sayin.

I think it has some hits on it, I like how she changed the vocal arrangements beyong the obvious, I like Leave U, Me and U, Superwoman and a few others. I think it could used some different energy meaning new producer to add unique fresh perspective to the music. I will support her on the 14th
I like the songs and the lyrics but I can see why she usually writes for others. With a little tweeking to her voice the album would be hot! I still like Kandi as a person though.
