I saw this video earlier in the week and all I could do was shake my head. I thought the Ciara video was bad, but this is a lot worse. There are young women who probably look up to her too. A lot of the contemporary R&B artists, both male and female, are a joke. There are some exceptions (most of the neo-soul artists) , but for the most part there needs to be some changes made. There really needs to be more positive images of our sisters. Videos like this and the whole “barbie” character Nicki Minaj has created aren’t a good look. Sisters you are beautiful the way you are! A real man recognizes that and will respect that.

Also there’s an interview on another website (NB) with Laurie ann (she directed the video) explaining that Keri and the girls are suppose to be bounty hunters going after Keri’s man, and the whole plot is about whether or not she’ll bring him in..so yea, they are in a relationship..
Also, the aggressive/hungry comment was along the lines of why some people don’t like her, even before she did this video, people didn’t like her because she didn’t try to downplay her talent and her capabilities (“oh, she’s so arrogant, etcc”).I don’t think a woman has to “act” humble..notice i say “act”. And I for one admire that she is aggressive and not afraid to go after what she wants. But I agree that for the sake of her real fans she should go back to how she was and find a better way to appeal to a larger crowd. And I have never praised anyone for just “getting money”, or claim that they can do whatever they want because they have money. in fact, I said earlier that I agree that the oversaturation of sex in the media is a concern. What I had an issue with was the one sided criticism that’s been directed at her, I still can’t get over how people never complained about many of usher’s, trey songs’ songs, (ex. USHER/Nicki minaj “If you f**king with me”) and other 3-some, lollipop, video model-themed songs and videos etc..but somehow what Keri’s done is blasphemous.

This was a H.A.M and Keri knows it. She sounded horrible, the lyrics were horrible, the concept was horrible, and I am a firm believer in keeping bedroom behavior in the bedroom…She left absolutely NOTHING to the imagination. GROSS!!!!

LOL at the very few people on here who actually said they liked this video. OOOH where do I begin? I felt uncomfortable watching this video because I’m a straight female and I was warned about it before I viewed it. At first, it wasn’t vulgar when they were in the room talking about their plans on “getting” the bad guy; I did think that Keri came off very ghetto though talking about we some bad b**ches. Then she started to dance, and then a few second later I was like wtf? This isn’t as bad as a lot of the sexually explicit and controversy videos I’ve seen from many music artists’ before, but it was nasty! Keri is nothing but a H*, plain and simple.
What bothered me is that she was shaking her actual p***y! She got down on the floor, opened her legs, and jiggled it! How disgraceful and humiliating? I wonder what her FAMILY THINKS ABOUT THIS. I don’t like Keri’s personality and never did because she always showed how arrogant she is. She had a nerve to make a slick comment about Rihanna and Cassie taking nude pics in Complex magazine, yet she’s no better in her music videos. She bashed Beyonce in “Turning Me On” remix and then lied about it, talked about how she was glad she wasn’t stupid enough to take pics like the female artists above, she exaggerated her writing credits… something’s wrong with her. This song isn’t even hot! The beat sucks and the lyrics are even worse. Keri clearly shows she’s desperate for attention and will do anything to get famous like her “competition” Beyonce, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, maybe even Ciara, but it’s not going to happen. Keri can’t sing that well, sounds horrible live, can’t dance, can’t entertain, she can’t even write a full song without any help.
With that said, I think that it’s unfair that many people are going hard on Keri when females like Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Ciara, Britney Spears, Katy Perry, and many more show too much skin, dance like strippers, open their legs, shake their a**es in the camera, kiss and touch on girls and guys, but there are many people who call it sexy and praise them. No matter how “CLASSY” you try to make it, selling sex is overrated and nasty. I’m sick and tired of female singers selling their p***y. Children, teens, and even adults who want to be singers look up to these singers and will aspire to be like them. Why do you think Keri turned to sex?
I think she turned dbecause she is pressured to sell albums. Her first album didn’t go Gold and she is in jeopardy of being dropped from the label. This is how industry whores operate. It’s all apart of the game.
