EVENTS: RADIO PERSONALITY EGYPT HOSTS A PARTY AT TORY BURCH

WBLS-FM radio/television personality Egypt Sherrod hosted a holiday party at the Tory Burch store on Tuesday night (December 14) in New York City. The event was held to promote “Making Books Sing” and Egypt was spotted with her husband Mike Jackson (who is a DJ).

In related news, Egypt currently has a “Give Back Tour,” which is a coat, toy, and fund-raising drive to benefit the Tri-State area’s financially challenged residents. The 5-day tour will be anchored by a daily 5-hour radio live broadcast originating from locations in Brooklyn, Bronx, Harlem, Queens and Newark, NJ. For more info visit: egyptsaidso.com.

NEW MUSIC: LIL’ WAYNE FEAT. CORY GUNZ – “6 FOOT 7 FOOT”

Fresh from serving his prison sentence, even while having singles and a new album out while he was in the pen, Lil’ Wayne isn’t letting up any steam. He already has released a brand new single from his upcoming album, The Carter IV.

The new track, “6 Foot 7 Foot”, was produced by Bangladesh, who was instrumental in producing one of his biggest hits, “A MIlli”. The track also features Cory Gunz. It’s interesting to see that Bangladesh is collaborating with Wayne again, considering all the bad-mouthing he did about not receiving royalties while he was in jail.

In any event, The Carter IV is slated to hit stores at the top of 2011.

SPOTTED: KEYSHIA COLE LEAVING WENDY WILLIAMS + VIDEO OF HER APPEARANCE

Singer Keyshia Cole was spotted leaving a taping of the Wendy Williams show on Tuesday morning in NYC. The star was there to promote her new album ‘Calling All Hearts’ (in stores December 21) and perform her single ‘Long Way Down’ in New York City.

She spoke about her upcoming wedding to Daniel “Boobie” Gibson and her mom Frankie. Peep a snippet from the show below.

VIDEO: USHER’S NYC STOP IN THE ‘OMG TOUR’ + INFO ON HIM GETTING KICKED IN THE FACE!

As you may or may not know, Usher has been busy singing and dancing his heart out for his national OMG Tour.

During his performance of “Trading Places”, the crooner brings up one lucky lady on stage to share a special moment with him. Well on Monday night at Madison Sqaure Garden Usher became the (un)lucky one, because she definitely came with an accidental swift kick to the face! Lol You can catch it at the 5:22 mark. Whoops!
