Guess who spoke at a recent pep rally for the United Nations Foundation. Hint: Her second official album is slated for release this year.
It’s R&B singer/songwriter Estelle. She took part in the GirlUp Pep Rally at the Boys and Girl Club of Greater Washington on Saturday (January 15), as part of the United Nations Foundation’s Unite for Girls Tour, which gives American girls the opportunity to channel their energy and compassion to raise awareness and funds for programs of the United Nations that help some of the world’s hardest-to-reach adolescent girls.
In related news, Estelle is in the studio completing All of Me, the follow-up to 2008′s Shine.
