Brought to you by the same people behind N-Secure, The Heart Specialist was filmed in 2006 and is billed as “a modern comedy about the everyday perils of first year medical residents at a shabby south Florida hospital”. The indie flick will premiere on 500 screens across the country on January 14.
I’m going to see this, it looks like a good movie that is funny and that also has an all black cast, me likey.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but if this was filmed in 2006, how are they making so many recent references to music?? Did I read something wrong?

The film, originally known as Ways of the Flesh, debuted 13 September 2006 at the Boston Film Festival. Some scenes were re-shot; the film was given a new title and the producers signed a service deal with Freestyle Releasing to distribute it (finally).

This movie really disapointed me. I went to the movie expecting a good laugh and all i was leftt with was feeling sad and confused because it wasnt funny at all. They portrayed it as a comedy in the previews but it was nothing of the sort. Ultimately I felt tricked and decieved, I went in expecting to laugh my ass off not a sob story!!
even though it wasnt the comedy that you thought it was, did it still have a good story line? and did it have a good message?
